"The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊"

"Lighthouse was absolutely perfect for a group pf x 3 friends to enjoy time together. What`s not to like about sea views, coastal walking and glorious sunshine ? Internally the lighthouse is tastefully themed all things "sea", comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fabulous."

"From receiving the arrival details to leaving the property at the end of our stay, we couldn’t fault a single thing. Hilda was informative regarding the check in procedure, there were biscuits crisps and pop on the table for us, and the house was lovely and warm. "We have had a great October break. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Ideal location to walk the coast into Brid and back (land train optional). Short distance to Filey. Scarborough - where our children enjoyed Peasholm Park feeding the squirrels. Hosts also provided Sewerby Hall entrance tickets. A great week had by all. 😊 xx"

"The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."

"This hotel was built in 1844 and the spa is on the lowest floor, but it’s comfortable, the pool looks lovely and the jacuzzi is huge. We also liked the steam room, 2 saunas and ice cave with a swirl of cool mist as you walk in. It’s Victorian in feel, lots of tiles but great for what we wanted. Our double standard room with a sea view was spacious and the view spot on. Staff friendly and efficient."
