It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. "We stayed for a week in December during a hard time for our family, and the property was just what we were after; rural, quiet and calm, with a lovely pub just yards away. The only issue we ran into was that the dishwasher was too small to clean the plates provided. But the owner was pleasant, the wood burner made things cost, and the bathroom was clean. Napton is a lovely village with a really good local store, and the Folly pub is fantastic. This property would work for a couples’ mini-break...

"We had a great stay in the Cotswolds. There is such a lot to do in this area. The house in Moreton-in-Marsh was in a great location, although on a busy road. There was only one parking space so this was quite inconvenient. The house had spacious bedrooms but not such roomy reception rooms. The house showed some wear and tear and was fitted in a basic way. However, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay and our whole family enjoyed our stay."
