"The cabin behind us their bed backs up to the wall of our bedroom. All “things” done in that room is heard loudly in the other room. Normally not a problem. But this stay it was almost all night and multiple times. Hard to sleep through all that banging and loudly screaming for God. "

"This little retreat is just as illustrated on the site. It is so peaceful and quiet in this location, and the views from the living and dining space is beautiful. The owners were gracious and communicative, and went out of their way to deliver two items we inadvertently left behind, for which we are so grateful! It was the perfect place for a short getaway to slow down, avoid screens and steep ourselves in peace and quiet. "

"We stayed two nights on a trip to the Sand dunes… It was centrally located in Crestone, convenient to the market and coffee shop. Would stay here again. Not fancy, perfect for a Nice peaceful getaway. Beautiful views, you can’t beat Crestone. Be mindful there are stairs and grass to walk-through upon arrival. We very much enjoyed our time there. "We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly."

"I came to visit hoping to stay in a nice quiet area with a view of the mountains. I was instead treated to a gorgeous and carefully cared for property with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous view. "The best thing about this property is the upstairs porch. Wonderful views of the sunset and so many stars at night! The owner of this property pays a lot of attention to detail. Coffee and filters are provided as well as tea and a little dish of mints when you arrive. There was also a separate electric kettle, which was a nice touch. The place smells brand new and they were individual bottles of shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc. if you’re going to Crestone, stay here if you can!"

"What a stunning house and a fantastic location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. Walking in to the incredibly high ceilings made it seem like a lodge from the movies! The house was warm (even when it was snowing), comfortable, and full of everything you need to relax. We really appreciated the snacks provided too, and having laundry was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this fantastic place."
