"Pretty and cozy cottage in non remote rural area surrounded by lovely walks with our doggies. The cottage is small, but we were 3 adults with 3 dogs and it suited us fine for a 3 day break. The hosts met us, as they live next door, and were charming and very responsive to queries we had. "Amazing place to stay, beautiful apartment with the best view. Lovely to arrive with an early check-in and see a chilled bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge. Perfect location, close to all of the shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended and would love to stay here again."

"The property is more spacious than it looks on site with a lovely sunny little garden and nice big table outside. Very comfortable and all fitted out to a very high standard. Unfortunately Owners were away during our stay, so didn’t meet them but commend them on the quality of renovation, nothing tatty or cheap."

"Property was clean , tidy and spacious . Facilities were good . Internet was good and it was a 2 min walk from the beach . Couple of restaurants locally .One was shut for a couple of weeks but lamphey and Pembroke are a short drive away . Directions were very good and property was easy to find "

"6 adults and 4 children for a surprise 50th family weekend. Beautiful surroundings. Easy to reach destinations. Perfect size for all of us and layout, however could do with a little TLC, cleanliness was not great. Did not let it ruin our stay as it was perfect otherwise."

"This lovely eco house is in a perfect location to visit Pembrokeshire. The house is in very good order, is well equipped and its 'tree top' location makes it that extra bit special. We were just four adults but it would be perfect for six people as it has three good sizes bedrooms. The location is perfect, if you can manage the 47 steps to the house, it is a very short walk to the village which has a number restaurants, pubs and a café. We would recommend."

"We had a lovely week at Rooks Retreat - even got used to the rasping rooks! Wasn’t as close to Freshwater East as we hoped. It is possible to walk (up the lane from the cottage) towards Freshwater Inn, but there are some very steep steps to negotiate down onto the beach, takes about 45 minutes. The cottage is great, cosy & well equipped. The weather was so good we enjoyed sitting in the garden in the afternoon sun. Easy to make the cottage warm on those couple of cooler evenings. "We hebben heerlijk verbleven in het Royal Lion Hotel. De ligging is geweldig; pal aan zee. Onze kamer bood schitterend uitzicht. De kamer was schoon, de check-in vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed.
