Come with your family and friends and enjoy our professionally decorated VACATION HOME, that is centrally located between Orlando, Daytona Beach, and St. Augustine. Lake House Blue is located at the end of a dock that stretches over 250 feet from the land for the ultimate in privacy. This beautiful home has upscale amenities inside, including, HIGH SPEED INTERNET with DESK AND CHAIR FOR WORK FROM HOME OR STUDYING. Franklin wood Fire Place, (Quartz Counter tops & Stainless Steel Appliances) outdoor decks all around the house with a LP gas outdoor Fire Pit with Adirondack chairs.
Over the water location with fresh air abound could be one of the best places for relaxation in all of Florida...

There are two screened porches with rocking chairs, and a hammock.
Bring your boat, or use our Crab traps and fishing gear, and yes you can Fish all around the house on our docks. Relax while watching wildlife like Ospreys, Herons, Egrets, and the occasional Bald Eagle.

Fishing is good almost all year around. This lake made it's reputation with Large Mouth Bass, with tournaments coming out of Palatka on the St. Johns River.


WE CONSIDER THE LOCAL FISH THAT LIVE IN THE WATERS AROUND LAKE HOUSE BLUE AS FISH FRIENDS AND ARE VALUABLE ASSETS, ESPECIALLY THE BLUEGILL POPULATION. OUR GOAL IS TO KEEP THEM FAT AND HAPPY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE FAVORITE DISH OF OUR BIG MOUTH BASS. OUR AUTOMATIC FISH FEEDER PROVIDES THEM WITH PELLET MEALS 2 TIMES A DAY AT 10 am, and 6 pm. WE THINK THEY APPRECIATE THIS PERK AND WE ARE GLAD TO PROVIDE IT..
LAKE HOUSE BLUE IS ALL ABOUT GIVING EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY A RESTFUL REFRESHING BREAK FROM THE PRESSURES OF DAILY LIFE.

FOR OUR BOATERS.. we have a floating EASY DOCK for your tie ups with a stationary ladder up to the main dock. Pull in, tie off, and let the dock and your boat act as one for your added convenience.

Daytona 500 one hour away: Don't miss the greatest NASCAR event of the year. Not very far away, and the perfect place to get away from the crowds and relax when it is over.
HORSEBACK RIDING is not far away. South on 17 between Barberville and DeLeon Springs...Deep Creek Stables has an excellent set up for all kinds of riding...
Also while in DeLeon Springs DON'T MISS your chance to swim in the 14 million gallon per day clear water Nature Spring and State Park. Be sure to go early so you can enjoy self made Pancakes at The Old Sugar Mill Pancake House. A crowd favorite !!

Unique Experience
We’ve been staying at VRBOs for years, and this was definitely our favorite. If you love water views, this is your spot. We used to live on a sailboat and water views feed my soul. I happily made every meal the four nights we were there because of the bank of windows in the kitchen, I even enjoyed doing the dishes! The views are endless, and every room has windows with views.The decor is fabulous, we noticed new, interesting items daily. The dining room table is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The showers are exquisite, with multiple body jets. In a word, perfect. We will return.

Amazing Again
Another great stay at Lake House Blue. We caught crappie, crabs and catfish from the dock. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Enjoyed resting on the porches, even a nap in the hammock. Thanks again for a great stay. hammock.oithammock.

Spectacular and unique property*****
Very clean and well stocked property. Many upgrades not typical in a vacation rental. Our stay was fantastic and a special memory. The crabbing was terrific and far exceeded our expectations. Property owner was very nice and easy to communicate with.

Weekend with the Guys
Took a guys weekend getaway for the long weekend. We loved the house! So many accommodations they really thought of everything. Will definitely be back with the family! Thanks for sharing this awesome house with us! I’ll miss napping on that hammock.

Delightful Stay on the Lake
Had a lovely time. It was GF's milestone bday so wanted something special for her. This was it. Beautiful and unique on-the-lake-cottage. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets and moon over the water. Peaceful and tranquil. Put the boat in and tied up to the house. Cruised the lake and the St. Johns. Did some catch and release fishing right from the dock. I bought roses ffrom local florist or GF and Owners/Manager had them waiting for her in the cabin...super nice!

Lake House Blue is Spectacular
Dean’s place was absolutely perfect for our vacation. From beautiful water views on all sides, ever changing sunrises and sunsets, wildlife sightings, plus all the comforts of home, this spectacular place has it all! Excellent instructions are given on how to get there and get inside. Check in and check out went smoothly. We can’t wait to book Dean’s place again!

Best family get away to date!
The property was amazing and included everything you can imagine and need. From luggage carriers for the dock to a fully stocked shed with kayaks, boats, fishing equipment and more, to a fully furnished kitchen with every cooking appliance and tool you can imagine to make any meal! Stores are conveniently close and local restraunts like the 3 Bananas are a must to visit! You can park your boat right at the house as the boat ramp is less than a mile and the boat ties were an added bonus to ensure it doesnt hit the dock during storms. Sunrise and sunsets are splendid on the front amd back porches as is watching a storm on the lake from the 360 views of windows within the lake house! The decore is interesting and impecable as well as interactive to include books and board games that would suit anyones fancy! I highly recommend Lake House Blue for any get away! Our family thouroughly enjoied our time there and will be returning again! The owners go above and beyond to provide everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

One of a kind

Another wonderful stay!
Thanks again to the Ellis family for another wonderful stay at the Lake House Blue. We caught gar, bowfin, and skate right off the dock. Bill landed a 4 ft gar that was quite the challenge. The osprey pair were very entertaining. They had babies and were very protective, fighting off eagles and crows.. crazy! All in all, wonderful vacation. Relaxing and rejuvenating. We just love it! ...and you will too!

The whole Gamut
We had an absolute blast. From the bald eagle that flew over my head as soon as i stepped out of the car, to the nesting ospreys, the alligator (that changed our mind about kayaking), to the peregrine falcon that i watched catch a snake, to the plate fulls of blue crabs that we caught and ate, along with the catfish and pan fish that we caught off the deck and ate. We didn't know it was the Bassmaster elite tournament time. But my husband wound up talking to several as they practiced their skills around the house. And actually fishing around us once the tournament starting. The Mexican restaurants down the street a little ways we're authentic and yummy. Nearby Palatka offered us a fishing guide trip. The same distance the other way gave my husband the opportunity to go wild hog hunting. Sitting on the deck every morning with coffee and breakfast was an absolute joy. As well as marshmallows at night over the fire pit. An extremely well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook with ease. Follow the shade around the house when it got too warm for a 360° view. The owner was a pleasure to work with and even let us know of a space X launch that launched and we got to see. The sunrises were amazing. The house was in itself a treasure. In fact you could have a treasure hunt in it as there was something new to see with every scan. Thank you so much for a fantastic time. Chris and Annette

Perfect place for a little R&R
Third time at this rental. Perfect for a couple days of fishing(we brought our flats boat) and even more perfect for a couple days of relaxing and reading(winds picked up). Highly recommend!! Thanks again Dean!

Serene Old-Florida Getaway
One of the most unbelievable houses and locations we have ever seen. The hosts anticipate nearly every possible need and have outfitted the house fantastically for guests. Not to mention, the house is immaculately kept and the very definition of inviting. It was wonderful to see our children disconnect from their technology and spend all day outdoors, enjoying nature! My husband and I also loved the feeling of serenity that comes with being surrounded by so much natural beauty. Relaxing in the hammock and just listening to the lapping of the waves on the lake was heavenly. We loved everything about our stay at Lake House Blue and look forward to staying there many more times in the future!

Lake Blue House is exceptional!
The Lake Blue House exceeded our expectations. It was well maintained, very clean, had a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and as well as the various condiments. It was a unique experience staying out in the water, hearing the lake lap underneath the house which created a soothing effect. I would definitely recommend this to both fishermen and family getaways!

Unbelievable Lake House on the water
This house has it all, lake views from every room in the house. Normally we leave our VRBO home to go out to eat but this home has everything you need to stay in. On site gas BBQ pit, fire pit, plenty of seating. A hammock overlooking the lake, great fishing all on a home located over the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend if you want to just get away and relax.

Can’t Wait to Come Back
This is one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. The hosts thought of everything we could possibly need and were only a text away if we needed them. They even provided multiple rolling carts for moving our luggage across the runway/dock. The house is beautiful with 360 waterfront views. The quiet is very peaceful and relaxing. We loved having coffee in the morning on one screened in porch and wine in the evening on the other. The rain changed our boating plans so we fished off of the dock when we could and used the crab traps. We caught a few blue crabs and it was a blast! The kitchen had everything you need and more. The bedrooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Loved that there is a deck so you can walk around the entire house and fish wherever you want. Cannot recommend this rental enough.

FABULOUS PLACE!
Our second visit to Lake House Blue and it was perfect once again. This house sits right on the water and is so private and peaceful. A very unique, comfortable spot with fabulous water views. The property is very well maintained, and the hosts think of everything you might need for your stay. Hopefully we'll be able to return next year!
