"My best friend and I stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed the beauty of the frozen lake, the warmth of the house and the very well stocked kitchen! We did some cooking and found that the dishes and cooking tools/pots/pans, etc were perfect. Very quick responses from the host, everything was as described and expected. "We stayed here for our sons hockey tournament. We needed a pet friendly option which led us here, and what a find. There are two properties- we stayed in the one on the main floor of the hosts house. Two queens, full sized bunks, great kitchen and sitting area for breakfast. Views from the living room area are unbelievable. The host was great. I Would definitely recommend and stay again. You won’t find many, if any, places close to Jay Peak- I think my average drive to the rink was 8...

"Phenomenal place with amazing views of the lake. Very comfortable beds that served as base camp for a weekend at Jay Peak. "

"Such a cozy cabin and some amazing trails right behind for exploring by yourself or with dogs. Loved the open floor plan and the loft area, much bigger than anticipated. Had an amazing stay and look forward to renting it again. 10/10 recommend in the winter, can only imagine how it is in the summer."

"This was a spacious, well-appointed, beautiful home that allowed our large extended family to spend a great holiday together. The owner was easy to communicate with and we found the property to be just what we needed. Even enjoyed the light coating of snow throughout the day and evening to make the views and vistas even more breathtaking!"

"Excellent property for a family getaway. It is right by the river which makes it unique. Big enough to accommodate a bigger family or multi-family vacation. The cottage is within walking distance to the local grocery store and several eateries. Also perfectly distanced to other VT spots like Stowe or Burlington...which was about 1 hour driving to each.. "This is a charming Vermont farmhouse, a short ride from the town of Stowe and a 20 minute drive to Stowe mountain. The price was unbeatable and the stay was comfortable. The only concern was the owner did not respond to communications. We messaged them multiple times asking what to do with the garbage and recycling and they don’t respond. Luckily there were no major issues so it didn’t affect our stay."

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:...

"I couldn’t have asked for more of a cabin that felt like home when we got there. Super cozy and clean ready for us to move in early. Also you’re a short distance and will find there’s plenty to do near you. Christine was very accessible and clear with directions. I enjoyed the trip, thank you Christine!"

"The house is sprawling, plenty of first floor room, and a top level apartment was great for a family’s needing their own space. The rooms were comfortable and each had a lake view. The kitchen pantry was well stocked with little extras, and there was plenty of fridge storage with two refrigerators. The lake is set behind the house with a huge yard that accommodates many games. The dock and swimming area were tidy, and they had plenty of water boats (boards,kayaks,canoes) and life preservers....
