"Beautiful and quiet country property. The barndominium was gorgeous! Uniquely beautiful & artistically decorated throughout. The kitchen was large, functional and very unique with pebbled backsplash and driftwood pot hangers. As was the bathroom. Beautiful pebble shower walls, floor and backsplash. Very comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. Very comfortable livingroom with cozy woodstove. The deck overlooking the meadow was a beautiful spot to start and end the day. "

"This is a perfect base if you want access Mt Washington and the Park meadows area. We were there in the summer and went hiking on the trails at Park Meadows among the lakes and alpine vistas. Very easy to get to from this location. The cabin is a cozy, well organized and fully equipped place. The shower is amazing and the bunk beds could easily fit 3 people or 4 if you have smaller kids. "Our group of three had a wonderful stay at Val's beautiful duplex. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from downtown Courtenay with easy parking as well. The rental was remarkably well equipped, especially the kitchen - they thought of everything! We enjoyed breakfasts and one fantastic dinner in, and made use of the lovely outdoor space as well. Highly recommend this rental for your travels to Courtenay, BC. "
