Private country home 2 minutes from The Trent River with a boat ramp and awesome fishing; 20 minute drive to historic Downtown New Bern, Birthplace of Pepsi Cola; 30 minute drive to beautiful Emerald Isle Beach and 30 minute drive to Camp LeJeune MCAS as well as CherryPoint MCAS! Plenty of space to park your boat or other TOYS!

Location was perfect!! This place is very clean and I felt at home just walking in the door. Looked in the fridge and there was a dozen of fresh eggs! This is my second time I’ve stayed here and when I come back I will be hoping this place is available.

Peaceful Vacation
We rented this house for a weekend to fish in the Trent River. Very close to the river and plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. The house was clean and owners quick to respond to any questions. We will stay again.

Modern amenities, such as Wi-Fi and updated appliances. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided prompt responses to all questions. Overall a truly charming and quaint country experience. A serene setting made it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway. Whether you are looking to unwind or explore, this delightful home offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while bringing back memories of my childhood summers spent in Pollocksville.

Absolutely Amazing
All I knew was that this place was literally between two of my sons who are in the Marine Corps. We wanted to go to welcome home one from deployment and celebrate the other’s 25th birthday!!! Could not have asked for a better location!!!! Secluded but still close to grocery stores. The Best way to celebrate the above and also an Easter Egg hunt for the grandkids!! Definitely will stay here again!!!!

Quiet Country Getaway
Quiet little house in the country spacious and clean. Hosts were very quick with communication and very welcoming. The house is about 20 minutes from Tryon Palace and the Birthplace of Pepsi. Great location and a charming getaway.

This is the second year we stayed in this house. No issues. Home owner is great, and the house is perfect for what we need it for! We had people arriving late or leaving early all work and we never ran out of room.

Nice and relaxing.
We stayed for just 1 night and had to leave because we had a family emergency and had to turn right back around and make a 10 hour drive back home. In the 12 hours we were there i can say the following: The home was very clean, stocked with everything you would need to cook/clean/bathe etc. There are 3 bedrooms. We only used 2 bedrooms and the beds were comfy. There were no creepy crawly critters in the home at all as it is very well taken care of. I wish we would have been able to complete our stay and enjoy it. Thank you. Thank you for your hospitality. It was appreciated.

Very comfortable property. Out in the country but a quick ride into New Bern. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Living room and porch were cozy and the location is very quiet and peaceful.

Cute country stay
The pictures dont do it justice. 3bed 1 bath in the country on a dead end drive thats private. Everything was maintained & very clean. 10-15 mins away from new bern, 25 mins from Jacksonville and like roughly an hour to atlantic beach/ emerald isle. I would come back again. The owners were great and even had travel sized items .

Antiversary get away
Adorable house with a full-on forest in the back. Birds were great to listen to on the awesome screened in porch while having coffee. Sometimes you just to get out of town and support your friends and that is what we did. Perfect stop for some solitude. Thank you!

Very accommodating and pleasant surprise
My son and I stayed for 2 days while taking care of estate business. I appreciated the owners going out of their way to assist me with my special needs. The house appears to be small even listed as 3 bed but were surprised to see how roomy and a lot of yard space. We both thought how great this would have been for the trips we made with his family to visit my mother over the years. We didn't get a chance to explore where the water was but would have liked to. Very nice spot for family.

Cute little house! Great for the two of us. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bed was very firm. Too firm for my taste, but it may be fine for others. Host was very helpful and attentive. We didn’t have any issues, but I have no doubt they would’ve been responsive had something come up. They even had soap, shampoo and toothpaste/toothbrush in case we forgot them!

Very nice family home!
Easy check-in. Very clean, family friendly home. We really loved the Christmas tree, it made our stay feel warm and festive. This home had everything we needed. Will stay here again, next time we are in town!
