Great fishing!!!
This property was very clean and the location was steps away from our fishing guide service! Kitchen was well stocked and coffee/happy hour from the rockers on the back porch was so relaxing! Will be back soon!!

I’ve Stayed at TroutFest Twice
I’ve stayed at TroutFest twice, and I’ll continue to stay there. It’s in a great location for me, and the home is perfect for my group of four fisherman. The deck is awesome, and when the White River is low, you can fish from the house. The owner is very responsive.

Great place!
We had a wonderful weekend at Troutfest! Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. It has a really awesome vibe and lots of space to spend with your group. The back deck is an incredible place to hang out and it was great to be able to walk down to the river. We had a great time fishing and catching up with family. The host was easy to communicate with and was extremely nice and professional. Would love to come back again! Thank you so much, Rick!

Ricks property is beautiful, well stocked, well kept and in a great location. Hence we keep coming back every year. He communicates well and provides anything needed for a great stay. Worth every penny.

Troutfest
Great property. Well taken care of right on the White River with great views of the river from the deck and the outdoor bar area. We didn't get to enjoy all that the property offered given that we were only there two days for a quick flyfishing trip. Every part of the property is set up for a nice friend or family stay. Very well set up for entertaining for several evenings on the back porch or in front of the outdoor fireplace with its own bar area that has overhead heat and fans. We had one request and the owner (Rick) reached out right away and accomodated us, no questions asked. We were also fortunate to spend some time in town Cotter where they were holding their Troutfest Event. This was a great small town feel gathering where we met up wtih one of our guides and hung out for a while. Place fully met our expectations and we've stayed around...

Great place with perfect river access.
We have been renting in this area for over 20 years. This by far is the best place we stayed. Clean, well equipped, easy access to the river, well maintained yard, great Internet. A perfect to relax. The owner seemed very nice and thoughtful. He even contacted us to warn of a big drop in temperature that was coming. This house is within 15 mins to anything you might want for food and grocery's. This is centrally located between Bull Shoals Dam and Cotter. Wildcat shoals along with other river access points are a min away. My wife loved the house and the yard and said we are going back. Do I need to say more? We love staying here.

The property is beautifully located on the river. Excellent spot for pets, fishing, walking, boating, kayaking & hanging out on the deck. We made s’mores & hotdogs in the outdoor fireplace & enjoyed an evening of peace & quiet by the fire. The master bath is just a delight- walk in shower. The kitchen was perfect & had everything we needed & or wanted. Incredible place to stay. Super easy to find, rent, get in, get Wi-Fi, relax, have fun & recharge!

All around perfect!
The property was everything and more than I would have dreamed for a nice getaway. The local property contact, Rick, was also extremely helpful and able to accommodate any of our requests. Out of all the places that I've stayed around the country this was my overall favorite. The heaters on the patio and extremely comfortable beds were a nice surprise! The property is perfect for fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors. I've recently recommended this property to others that are looking to trout fish the White River. I'm already looking for a reason to book again!

This is either the 3rd or 4th time staying at this property. Without fail, another great weekend in the books. The location and amenities offered are terrific. Even at 40 degrees, we caught fish and enjoyed some time away. Def recommend!

Amazing outdoor space to relax with fans or heaters, on the river we caught rainbow trout and watched deer in the evenings in the field in front of us. It is also the perfect place for a baseball fan!

Perfect family getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Troutfest this week! My kids wanted a change from our annual beach trip and this was a perfect fit. My son loves fishing and caught plenty trout right from the bank. Hubs and son did a guided fishing trip and maxed out within two hours! We rented a pontoon on lake bull shoals, canoed the buffalo river and visited the bull shoals cabern. We loved the location, the coziness and the wildlife we got to see while there! We will certainly be back!

We love the location, yard & views. The kitchen household items need to be updated. The garbage disposal doesn't work. Upon arrival there were 3 sets of sheets & towels in the dryer. In my opinion 3 sets of sheets is too many to wash & get clean at one time. We folded the items.
