"Our third visit in 10 years :-) The house is in a peaceful lane, backing onto grape vines, on the edge of the pretty little Gironde estuary village of Mortagne sur Gironde. Huge garden, not overlooked. Great pool, Fantastic (new) big charcoal bbq, outdoor seating. UK FreeSat TV. WiFi is quite weak as it’s a very rural area, so wouldn’t recommend if you want to do any work on a PC during your visit. Bakery, butchers, great little supermarket and several restaurants in village, all within...

"We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse with a group of 6 friends, and it was perfect for our group. Each couple had separate quarters and bathrooms, and there was extra room if we wanted to add more. The kitchen was amazing and ready for cooking if desired, and the setting is perfectly situation in the vineyards to explore nearby tastings and villages."

Das Haus war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Vermietern war wirklich super nett und sehr darum bemüht uns einen schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Auch uns hat sie mit ihren selbstgebackenen Keksen verwöhnt. Der Pool war super und die Umgebung mitten in den Weinfeldern grossartig. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!!"

Nous avons pu nous reposer au calme et profiter du barbecue. Les jeux, surtout le jeu de fléchettes, ont été fort appréciés par les enfants. La région est sympathique à découvrir."

"We primarily visited the area to cycle and to enjoy the wildlife - neither disappointed.We cycled just over 600 miles on extremely quiet roads and paths through varied landscapes.After a days cycling the swimming pool was a real plus.The owners Howard and Liz are on hand with a wealth of local knowledge and treated us with views of wild boar from the patio. The bike was garaged and nothing was too much trouble.We will return."

"We enjoyed a week in this gite - two adults and two teenagers (1518). It’s located quite close to Bordeaux, in the middle of a wine yard - very peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed. Communication with owner was very easy and they were very helpful and attentive to our needs and wellbeing."
