"This house in Marathopoli was the perfect home base for our family of 7 (all adults except one teen) for a week in June. Wanting to avoid crowded cities, this small seaside village 3.5hrs southwest of Athens was ideal to relax and unwind, serving up amazing local food, with a beautiful spot to swim in the sea at the end of the street or at the gorgeous beach nearby. We ventured out to a waterfall, took a boat ride to the island close by for some snorkeling, and explored some castles and nearby...

"I was not well at the time so my view may be a bit muted. Also, the weather was mixed....as it has been over Europe in this hottest summer ever. The pool and area was lovely with seating in shade available wherever the sun was during the day. The rooms were clean and neat with nothing more we could have wanted. It was an interesting/strange set up with the downstairs and upstairs being fully separated. This was not a problem for us, but we were surprised by it. The air conditioning worked...

"Sehr schönes Haus, edle Materialien. Für 8 Personen aber zu klein, da auch nur ein Bad mit Sitzbadewanne. Schade wurde da keine Dusche eingebaut. Das Haus liegt ausserhalb des Dorfes, ein Auto ist notwendig, auch weil der Strand unterhalb des Hauses leider nicht nutzbar ist, da müsste manmehr draus machen.ist.Schade, "

"We had a wonderfull holiday at Artemis. The house, pool and especially the terrace was very nice. Cleaning was done after every 3 days and was done well. We enjoyed our holiday. Only we missed a nice view, but this was minor. Thank you"

"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Auf einer Anhöhe gelegen mit Rundumblick auf das Meer und Methoni haben wir uns auf der Dachterasse gefühlt, als wenn wir über den Olivenhainen schweben würden. Das Haus ist großzügig und geht über zwei Etagen, so dass jeder sich auch einmal zurückziehen konnte. Die Farbgebung der Innenräume ist sehr gut abgestimmt, was erheblich zur Wohfühlatmosphäre beiträgt. Der Garten mit Pool ist ein Ort der Entspannung, Simon ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber...
