"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. "The lake house was wonderful, Thanks for allowing us to check in a little earlier on Christmas Day. We loved everything about the lake house, It was very clean with plenty of room and everything we needed to make us have a great Christmas, My sister really enjoyed catching all the fish she caught, We would love to come back because everyone in my group loved your place so much, Thanks to Chris and wife, Have a blessed New Year’s."
