Shorely Goodness is in the Mercer Village community on Oleander, which is 1 block west of Alister St. This community is newly built in 2021. Still an easy drive (within 5 min) to the beach, but in the heartbeat of Old Town with some of the best food, excellent shopping, live music, entertainment and more - in walking distance!
Arriving at Shorely Goodness is really easy with 2 designated parking spots in the parking area plus a parking space next to the house (perfect for a golf cart rental as Shorely Goodness is in the golf cart zone). Enjoy the beautiful front porch with outdoor dining areas and charcoal grills just steps away. Enter into a spacious living room with a large TV and comfy couches and seating! This open concept floor plan also offers a spacious dining area, chef's kitchen and kitchen island - this area is perfect for entertaining, meals together, and/or planning your beach/fishing day ahead!
Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.
The kitchen is well stocked for all of your prepping, cooking, serving and dining needs. Not just functional and well equipped, Shorely Goodness is perfectly finished and designed with a coastal flair.
Also on the main floor is a half bath, laundry room with a washer and dryer and extra fridge (perfect for those cold drinks) for guest use.
Head upstairs to 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms: King Room with private bathroom, Queen Bedroom, and a Bunk Room with 2 triple bunk beds, which is 6 twins total. This bunk room offers a long table with chairs, perfect for kiddos to have a play area!
Don't forget the large community pool for swimming and water fun after all of your Port A sight seeing, fishing and beaching! It will be the perfect spot to cool off and make memories with your friends and family!

- The community pool is approximately 15-20 steps away from the home.
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- 2 pets are allowed at this home. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
