Located across from Aransas Bay, this recently remodeled 1BR cottage features a sunning deck, a shaded picnic area by the water, and a private pier. You’ll also enjoy a private backyard and patio with a charcoal grill.
Downtown Rockport and the beach are just minutes away!

LIVING AREA

Spend time together in the cozy living area, furnished with a couch and an armchair. Play a game of cards at the table for two, or watch favorite shows on the 32” flat-screen TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to whip up tasty meals. Helpful gadgets include a coffee maker, blender, and toaster

When your meals are ready, dine at the table for four.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This single-story home sleeps up to four guests between one bedroom and a bonus sleeping space.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and 32” flat-screen TV.

A bonus sleeping space offers two twin-size beds with a convenient privacy curtain to separate the area from the living room.

Stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries, the bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Take your pick between a charcoal or gas grill, located in the fenced backyard. Cook up burgers and dine alfresco on the patio, appointed with a table for four. Or, spend leisurely afternoons sunning on the deck.

Across the road, a grassy space features a picnic table under a charming tiki hut. Enjoy a bayside picnic or take a stroll along the pier that leads to a private dock -- outfitted with four chairs.

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, and parking for up to three cars in the driveway.

Joy Cottage on Water Street
We loved the location which is less than 100 feet from the water, where we could see many birds and dolphins. The cottage was fully furnished and photos are accurate. We had a couple of minor issues, taken care of quickly.

Throw your cares away
This quaint little cabin is perfect to get away and relax. Just sit, watch the water, listen to the waves and throw all yourcares away for a few days.

Enjoyed our stay. A/Cs have mold in them. Pier is not as pictured and no lights. Concrete trucks blocked our way into driveway as are building a home next to drive. Very clean cottage.

The Joy cottage
It’s everything a cottage is supposed to be , enjoyed the stay would go there again and will recommend it to my friends and family. The fishing was great with the exception of the lighting it needs more lighting Joy have your maintenance guy install a few more lights and you will be set . Also correct your listing because it stays a 20 foot pier when it’s every bit of 200 foot . That alone will get you more customers. Over all expect me and my group to return soon . Love you guys keep up the good work 🎣. Joe

Beachfront
The house needs to be cleaned better and the furniture is uncomfortable also some updates would really help this property. Overall it’s not a bad place to stay for a single guy but I would not take a lady friend to this house for a weekend getaway. Also the grass burrs in the yard are a problem.

We have rented this cute cottage twice and have really enjoyed it very much. I will say that the place needs to be updated otherwise it’s a great place for my husband and I. We love the pier and enjoy the sunrise!

Labor Day Getaway
Joys Beach Cottage is a cute little place to stay. It was close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. My daughter and husband were able to fish on the pier, and most everything we needed such as dishes, cookware, utensils, etc.. were provided. Both the owner and the rental agency were quick to answer any questions and took care of any concerns promptly.

Nice weekend getaway
Communication was great on our last minute booking. We enjoyed our short stay at this quaint cottage. The views were nice and water was clear. Bed was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed 2 restaurants in Rockport. We wished there was another couch or comfortable seating area.

Do not stay here - overpriced and uncomfortable
This property is not as advertised. There is absolutely no WIFI. One of the beds has a huge lump in it. The other beds are saggy and the linens are pilled and old-looking. The bathroom is tiny. The kitchen does not have anything but dishes and rusty/dirty pots and pans. The chairs outside for sitting on the uncovered porch are dirty and broken. The whole place is outdated, not clean, and uncomfortable. The windows have plastic and cardboard in them and windows are very dirty. And did we mention there's no wifi? We rented this place because we had to work while away and the wifi network did not even show up as an option. We would never stay here again or recommend it to friends.

Great location, beautiful views
This property was perfect for those looking for quiet views of the water and access to a fishing pier. The check in process was so easy and the property is very clean. The home is an older home so the kitchen layout was a little different and cozy. As long as you don’t plan to cook big meals, you will have all the space you will need. The bathroom is very small and we found we had to leave the door open to use the sink comfortably. The bed was comfortable and there were TVs in the main room and bedroom. The wifi did not work while we were there but management was willing to come and fix it quickly.

We liked the location of the house and the fishing pier, but house was not cleaned very well! No internet or tv the first night, contacted the Rental Agency and did not receive a call back until mid morning the next day.

Charming little cottage
The cottage on the waterfront was just right for a cozy getaway. It was equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet. The cottage was very clean. The pier across the way was delightful. We sat out and watched the mullet jump and so many birds fly by. I would recommend it for a laid back vacation.
