"Great location, eclectic rustic style. Tall ceilings, natural light. Kitchen well stocked with large island counter top and stools for gathering. Foozball and shuffleboard. Gas fireplace cozy couch and recliner. My only suggestion would be more comfortable beds - one full size bed very cozy, twin beds in other rooms less so. But overall, a wonderful place to stay - I’m definitely coming back! "

"Perfect location, excellent chalet, everything we needed to enjoy our evenings after romping about in the peninsula! The wood stove kept us warmed up on a cooler night; the kitchen was amply stocked and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trail to Agate Beach, and truly appreciated the proximity to our favorite places to hike. We will stay longer next time. Host Heather was so cool to share her organic farm invite; will have to stop there next time! "

"The location was wonderful. Right on the shores of Lake Fanny Hooe. Within walking distance to nearby restaurants. I had made an error with the days we would be staying, and it was easy to go online and also call to be sure my days of stay could be changed. They were very helpful and accommodating. "The setting is amazing and the view out the deck is unbeatable. Old and rustic. We didn't have a shower curtain and slipped on the wet bathroom floor (I just had shoulder surgery). No cell and poor internet but hey you don't those anyway in this area. "

"Had an unforgettable and absolutely lovely time here with my husband and our dog. The cabin is cozy, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location is stunning — it doesn't get any better than a fire on the shores of Lake Superior. Jason and Misty were kind and communicative and I really appreciated the thorough list of recommendations they gave us. We hope to stay here again!! 11/10 experience. "

"The view out the back window and off the balcony are amazing! The house had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out. The sauna was a nice treat especially on the cooler fall mornings. It is about 15-20 minute drive from the nearest convenience stores and gas stations but that was never an issue for us as the owners told us this ahead of time and told us where to stop on the way in to avoid needing to head back."

"From the moment we drove up to the property and saw the lake, and then entered the cabin, we were very impressed with this well-cared for vacation spot! It was cozy, clean and comfortable!! "Location on white sand beach was superb. Best time I’ve ever had in the Keweenaw. Campfires on beach every night. Plenty of wood and tinder. Lighting in house isn’t good for reading. Lights over sink and table were hard to turn on. Appliances could have been cleaned better. Overall house condition average at best"
