"Amazing cabin in the woods. Carol and Dan were amazing making sure we had everything that we needed. Which we did. They provided everything for modern living. We didn’t leave the cabin we did have some adventures in the rain and snow on the property. Our dogs were exhausted by day three. We saw otters playing on the lake, large beaver and some deer. Very quiet. Perfect place to go if you are looking somewhere to get away from the noise! Especially on New Year’s Eve. We cannot say enough...

"The people managing the property were super nice and readily available, whether it was to plow the driveway or answer a question. The cabin was so adorable. You couldnt ask for more. We took a snowy walk on the man made trail to the river as it snowed, drive to Lake Ontario and otherwise just enjoyed a perfect quiet weekend. Absolutely recommend "

"We rented this cottage last minute for a quick getaway with our family and it was perfect. The fireplace kept the whole cottage cozy and accommodations were exactly what we needed. We stayed for 2 nights. The kitchenette had plenty of kitchen tools to use. Being on Autumn Lake gave a picturesque view to wake up to. Check in and check out was easy to follow. I would suggest bringing your own pillows & stopping at the Walmart on the way in Center Square for essentials as there are not too many...

"Everything was just as described. Rooms were clean and nice. Kitchen even had spices and other cooking supplies. Good hot shower. There is a 59 insurance policy required on top of the price shown by VRBO. Definitely recommend this place - it was very nice."

"This little gem is tucked away in Dexter and offers a fabulous view (and access) of the river and surrounding area (Fall foliage was spectacular). There are lots of ammenities on property to enjoy! It was a little cold to hop in the Kayaks but they were available to us. We did enjoy warming up around the firepit and the barrel sauna was spectacular! The house was super cute and nicely decorated. There were a couple of very minor maintenance items (e.g. light switch, closet door) that could be...

"This great historic house was perfect for our family! We loved the house, especially the deck! The water front with paddle boards and fire pit circle were a huge hit! The kitchen was great, perfect for our family meals! Thank you so much to our hosts who were great with communication, answering questions promptly! Hoping to return again some day!"

The host was gracious and understanding of the needs of our family. The view from the house is simply magical, and helped us transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas as we experienced snow on the property. "We have stayed at this amazing cabin a few times and it is by far our favorite place to stay!The layout is perfect and we were amazed at how fast they had the snow plowed before we arrived and while we were there ! Brian and Andrea are the perfect hosts! "

"Chris’ place was great. Fit our needs perfectly. Super close to Winona and the trails. My GSD Pico loved it. He would just go outside like at home when he needed. Spacious. My kids loved it. Having a full kitchen was great. We ate in every meal—never went out. Bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bath were all spacious. Easy parking directly in front of our door. Chris set up an extension cord so I could plug in my block heater for my Cummins. I’ve stayed at a lot of different places in the area...
