"It was everything I needed to get away. It was nice the city amenities were just down the hill. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. I packed out my trash, brought my own water and camp stove for making coffee. The wrap around porch was super lovely. I spent the evening reading until it got chilly, started a toasty fire and curled up in the comfy bed. I brought a couple lanterns to conserve the solar light and two were perfect. "Wonderful little house up a small narrow steep road that added to the fun. Everything we wanted or needed except a washing machine. The washing machine did not work for us. Actually, neither did the TV. There were four adult women and none of us could get either to work. I still loved the house and setting. We didn't ask for help with the TV and didn't try the washing machine late our last night. I'm sure that our host would have helped us with the TV. Anyway, love the setting!"

However, the sunriom windows are broken (do not open) making it extremely warm upstairs on sunny days) and one of the windows in the living area does not completely close making it quite cold/damp feeling on foggy days. The parking is also a bit tight. We only had one vehicle so it was OK, but if we had brought 2 I'm really not sure where we could have parked it without blicking the neighbors. "
