"The house is wonderful, with plenty of space to use and comfortable. However, it is extremely important to have some adjustments for the safety of the guests. My father-in-law didn't see the step that connects the kitchen to the living room and ended up falling, thankfully he didn't get hurt. The house needs signage on the steps, a non-slip mat to put in the bathtub, which is slippery, and a manual on how to use the stove, which we ended up not being able to use. "My stay at DERWENT DELIGHT was highly disappointing. The property lacked cleanliness, with dust and grime covering furniture, beds, linens, and carpets. To make matters worse, the property was plagued by an overwhelming number of spiders and cobwebs. Everywhere, there were webs in corners, ceilings & on furniture. "The house was even more spacious and lovelier than the photos!! We loved the well equipped kitchen, and picturesque surroundings with lots of privacy. A very comfortable and welcoming property for a relaxing stay. We appreciated the bottle of local Prosecco that was left for us to enjoy, and the beautiful vases of roses in every room. "Great little place in a gorgeous town. Very reasonably priced with friendly helpful staff. The town is close to so many fantastic places such as Penola, Coonawarra wineries, national park and beaches at Southend and Beachport. We weren’t planning to visit Penola but did so when a staff member recommended it and so glad we did."

"The perfect remedy to stressful life. A couple of nights here and I honestly feel renewed. Sophie is just wonderful, the most warm, thoughtful, welcoming host.
