"Great time!"

"We just spent ten days in this rental and were very pleased with all of the amenities as well as the location and quietness of the neighborhood. Great spot, close to pubs and other activities and away from the hustle and bustle of big city life. We would definitely rent again!"

"This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."

"Everything good except shower in ensuite needs new shower head. Very poor Internet signal at the house. No WiFi in house either. No outdoor furniture in back yard. Good central location for tourist attractions. Good Central heating. Very limited channels on TV. Good big dining room for family meals seating 8 people. "Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!"

"Place was quiet and secluded. My phone has practically 0 service and WiFi only worked for me outside. For 2 of us visiting the area for golf and stretch the Euro, it was perfect. We did run into some minor issues but didn’t get any response from Sykes management. Bathroom light stopped working during middle of our trip but we didn’t know how to get a hold of anyone and vrbo messaging didn’t work. They provide washer but there was no laundry detergent. There was fire place but couldn’t find...

Não tivemos boa experiencia

"Pela nota do hoteis.com tinha uma expectativa muito maior do hotel, pois sempre tento reservar com notas acima de 9, porém as fotos nos leva a esperar uma coisa e a realidade foi outra. Estávamos em casal e o quarto era minusculo, não sou muito exigente, porem esperava o minimo de espaço para conseguir abrir uma mala, o unico local que dava era onde abria a porta do quarto, então se a mala estivesse no chão aberta, ninguém saia ou entrava no quarto. O cafe da manha não é buffet, os pratos são bem tipicos de comidas da região, o que não nos agradou. Para chegar no quarto tinha uma escada logo seguido de uma porta, o que dificulta conseguir subir as malas. "
