"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. "We had an great stay at this beautiful cottage near Corcovado National Park! The location is stunning, and the adventure begins with the 4x4 road—it’s part of the experience and well worth it. The house is clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience.Joel was a fantastic host, even going out of his way to pick up a few items for us from Puerto Jiménez—so appreciated! "Our experience in this amazing house in this special place in Pavones exceeded the expectations of all 8 friends who were there. We enjoyed the contact with nature, the pool that is always very well looked after, the ice bath and the table tennis court, in addition to the other comforts it offers. I was so impressed of how close to the beach it is and so sound it by nature; the sound of waves from the ocean was definitely a plus.
