!!!Private Lake!!! Fishing, Swimming & MORE!!! Charming Lakeside Bungalow!!

Lake Forest Falls, an 80 +Acre Lake is a private lake. Guest are allow to fish and swim but NOT allow to use any motorized boats/jetskis on the lake. If you are fishing, we ask you to catch and release please! We do supply paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and trash bags up to a weekend stay. We have a charcoal grill on site but do not supply charcoal or lighter fluid.

Come relax at our adorable Lakeside bungalow. We believe the best vacation is one that takes you away from home, but has that feeling of home. Located in Lake Forest Falls, just 1.7 miles from Lake Conroe and 1.5 miles from B52 Brewery. A feel at home lake house fully-equipped & adorably decorated. Our Bungalow sleeps eight people comfortably. The large kitchen is great for entertaining, comes complete with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Two sofa's with all smart tvs & High speed internet. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms offers linens, towels and plenty of room for eight . A game room for playing all your favorite games. The Large front deck is great for having coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. Enjoy the back deck and play croquet or BBQ on this half acre lot. We are located just a few miles on the southern shores of Lake Conroe where you can find boat rentals, Lake Conroe Park, Marble slab creamery, Starbucks, Fajita Jacks, Papas on the lake and many other restaurants. Just 7 miles away is Historical Montgomery where there are antique shops, wineries and restaurants . Experience downtown Conroe where there is dining, live music, festivals, shopping, only 9 miles from Lakeside Bungalow. Our Lakeside Bungalow is a comfortable and affordable lake house for a weekend or week.

Grands Birthday weekend
We came in to town to celebrate our grand kids birthdays. We wanted to stay somewhere close to them. This house was nice enough. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint is I wish there were more/bigger bath towels!

Fantastic stay
The house was a perfect fit for our group. We were staying the weekend for the Texas Renaissance Festival. The only complaint was that there were not enough towels for the number of people (only 4 bath towels). The property manager was easy to reach with questions beforehand, and the check in and out went incredibly smoothly. Overall a wonderful experience.

Cute, comfortable and convenient
Bungalow was as cozy and inviting as listed. Comfortable rooms and layout. Nice outdoor space and quiet neighborhood. We were in town to spend Saturday at the Renaissance Festival. The location was perfect for us. It was about 35-40 minute drive to festival grounds but also close to restaurants, gas stations and stores. Highly recommend!

Quiet shady neighbourhood.
A very comfortable house, with a large spacious kitchen. The master bedroom is large and the real walk-in shower has really hot water. Sitting on the front porch with the friendly cat from next door was fun.

Great Lakehouse!
We really enjoyed our family stay. Jared was very responsive in communicating and a an awesome host. A few of us took the kayaks out which was really beautiful at sunset in the quiet lake. You can see lots of birds. The layout of the house has a good size kitchen/common area with room and table off to the side - great for board games. We slept well on solid mattresses. The outside has a nice size porch and the backyard is perfect for grilling - which we did, burgers & brats. Thanks so much Jared!

Perfect Vacation!
My family loved our vacation here! The house is a short walk from the lake (empty lot across the street, then the lake) or you can kayak from the channel in the backyard! Kitchen is well stocked, fun games, and most important....excellent host. Jared answered my questions very fast. My family is hoping to enjoy another stay at the lakeside bungalow.

Great place!
My family and I had a great time here. The house was very clean & comfortable. It's not directly on the lake, but there is a canal/creek leading to the lake in the backyard. The front porch & backyard had plenty of seating, so we enjoyed coffee outside each morning. The host answered my question very quickly.

Pros and cons
While we enjoyed our stay and the house was a perfect fit for us there were some issues. There were only two dish towels and only two washcloths in each bathroom. It would be helpful to have more. The WiFi WAS NOT WORKING. A roach crawled out of one of the beds. There were long strands of hair in this bed also. In trying to find the roach we noticed how dirty it was under the beds. The dryer vent had not been cleaned in a long time. The outdoor commons area was filthy. There was a dirty ash tray with butts in it and the big fan would not work . The grass desperately needed cutting. It was obvious none of the outdoor areas were prepared for guests. We got some use out of the canoe which was fun!

Private and Peaceful.
We had 5 adults and 4 children oldest was 9. The home was spacious and 3 bedrooms placed where you didnt hear people in other rooms. There was lots of outside sitting area to relax and enjoy visiting and your favorite drink. We actually rode out Hurricane Beryl during our stay. The property owner continued to check on us to make sure we were safe. Other than a few small branches down we were fine. Unfortunately we did lose power along with several thousand customers, the last 2 days of our stay because of Beryl. Due to my husbands health we relocated to housing with air conditioning. We have family in Houston to visit and we will definitely try to book this property again in the future. (Maybe not during hurricane season!). Super easy booking and check in process. Property owner very responsive to any questions or concerns of his guests.

Fantastic stay!
Jarred was a great host. The communication before and during our stay was awesome, alway replied in a timely manner and was very nice. The property itself was amazing! My family and I enjoyed the public lake and views. Will definitely book in the future.

The location is secluded and very quiet. Nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The rooms were very clean and well organized. The host was exceptional in communicating with. I highly recommend this location for what ever reason you need to be in the area.

Family gathering
We rented this house for a family gathering. The inside of the house was clean, but only had a few bath towels and a few toilet paper rolls. The outside was recently cut, however looked like it hadn’t been attended to since winter. The outside furniture , cushions and tables was covered with debris and grime. Contacted the owner and he apologized and sent someone to clean the outside and supply toilet paper. We got the toilet paper and they hosed off the concrete in the back only. The front of the house needed attention as it showed signs of deterioration.We were not able to use the outdoor space. The pictures in the listing suggest it is on the lake with a picture of a swing by the water. The swing was in a public area down the road. The water access was a small canal which does lead to the bigger lake, but not what was expected. Other than that we did enjoy our stay.
