Charming Mountainside Cabin, Walk 2 Frio River, River Road, Wooded Setting!

Set against the mountainside, this charming two story cabin has a wide front porch with front porch swing to sit & relax while enjoying this sweetheart location. Comfortable seating in the relaxation area with built-in custom fire pit. Monte Vista is ideal for families that want a storybook cabin-in-the-woods kind of feeling, yet located in the heart of Concan on River Road. Call Andy's for pickup/drop off to float the Frio River from your house!

Monte Vista sits back under large oak trees where abundant wildlife make their home. The front yard has a great man cave/party area, with super cute outdoor bar with fun tractor seats and a great fire pit. Watch the kids play horseshoes from the many outdoor seating areas. There are 2 barbecue smokers for making big family dinners. Close enough for you to walk to the river and cool off!

Monte Vista is a popular cabin full of charm and fun decor. This rustic two story cabins interior has an open floor plan, with large family kitchen, dining room and comfortable sofas under vaulted living room ceiling.

This relaxing cabins master bedroom and bath are downstairs, with super cute upstairs bedroom and charming loft upstairs with bath. Great price for the close river location (less than 1 minute drive to the 2nd crossing) this cabin is perfect for floating. Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be for an additional fee if ordered 2 weeks prior to arrival.

The Frio Country store is a short 3 minute walk for ice cream and snacks. Outside sit by the fire pit and have a few drinks at the outdoor bar, while you enjoy the stars and Frio life.

Frio Fun June 29-July 2 2024
Our stay was amazing! Check in process was so easy and communication with property managers was quick, easy and helpful. The river access however, was not as close as the listing made it seem. I was hoping to find a property closer to the water where my family and I could sit and hang out. The property however was conveniently located close to store, gift shops, gas stations, Garner State park, etc. Overall our experience was amazing. It accommodated 12 adults with easy.

Absolutely love this Cabin. Location is perfect. Property is great. Management is very helpful. The only compliant i have is not enough extra supplies. But still deserves all star review. I will be renting cabins from frio fun again!!

We gathered here for a mini family reunion and to enjoy the eclipse. The cabin was great and pretty well matched the description given. Property was clean and well managed. We had a great time and would consider Frio Fun properties again. The only comment would be that the stairs to the bedrooms aren't exactly uniform so we had to be a bit careful going up and down to avoid a misstep. Otherwise, a fantastic place to stay.

Great Experience
Monte Vista was perfect for our 2-night stay near the Frio River. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I'd recommend this place to families with kids. We will definitely look at staying here again.

Happy with this rental!!!
The cabin was is a super cute! Clean when we arrived and had everything we needed to cook in door and outside. The location and distance to the river was perfect. Just a few minutes drive down river road to Neals and the House Pasture! My grandson and I loved watching the deer pass through the property every morning and evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall the house and location were nice. Did not like the fact that we couldn’t turn the AC below 74, as both families keep their homes at 68 at night. Also the water pressure was very low.

Nice location and house
The house was adorable and the workers were super sweet. However, it was filthy! I spent my entire vacation cleaning. I mopped 3 times the night we arrived. Scrubbed and wiped down the cabinets that were full of dust. I made videos in the event anyone wants to see. There were dirty pink sheets left on top of the dryer, the floors were awful and the bathrooms were not cleaned either. We paid a lot for cleaning fees and we were the ones that cleaned and sanitized the property. We won’t be returning but the cabin was adorable and the staff members were very sweet! Another issue we received an email stating the river was “wide open” and dated on the day we arrived. There was no river sadly it was dried up. A few holes to swim in, I just didn’t like the deception. This will be our last year vacationing to Concan. We used to love it but times have changed.

Frio River Family Get Away
The house was awesome! Had all the space we needed. It was very clean when we arrived. Not issues at all during our stay. The outside bar was very cool and used often.. The way the outside lit up at night was great and set the mood for a good time. The location is very great! I cannot find anything to complain about. We will diffidently be coming back!

Monte Vista is was a great 4 bedroom cabin. It had all the amenities of home, plus a very nice front porch area with a rustic bar. The deer pass by the front of the property, it's a very peaceful and relaxing home. It's a short drive to the River and from Garner State Park. We can't wait to get back for another visit.

Our stay was magical from the time we pulled up at Monte Vista. The wildlife just drew you in, while eating almost all of our meals outside we had an audience. Sitting around the fire at night was the best medicine. It will be a vacation we won’t soon forget.

An absolute AMAZING place! My family had so much fun floating the river and relaxing at the property: roasted marshmallows over the outdoor bonfire pit, hung out at the outside bar, bbq’d, this house was sooooo relaxing! And the admin were very sweet people. 5stars!

Solid get away
We had a group of friends that just wanted to get away from the big city living. Unfortunately the frio river was very low but had a great time! The location was perfect from Gardner and the frio. Make sure to bring food and stick up on house supplies. Great place! We used the fire pit and the grill ! I recommended this place

GREAT GETAWAY!
This property was exactly what we were looking for. We came to Concan from Houston and this cabin was PERFECT for the 3 families that were with us. We have 10 people over all with 6 adults (3 couples) and 4 kids. The sleeping situation was perfect! Kids had the 2 sets of bunk beds in 1 one and the 3 couples all had queen beds to sleep in. Love the fire pit and the bar was a huge hit and gathering spot for meals and just hanging out after a long day on the river. I HIGHLY recommend this spot to large families or small groups of families / friends!!!

Cozy and Spacious
The outside area was amazing it had horse shoes, a fire pit, BBQ pit and enough seating and tables for all the family members. The inside was definitely roomy downstairs and had plenty of options to sleep inside. The beds are a little on the firmer side. The stay was great.
