The apartment, characterised by period details and furnishings, is designed to accommodate up to 6 guests.
The spacious living room welcomes guests with a warm and cosy atmosphere, enriched by antique furniture that creates a unique environment together with the small fireplace (WARNING: the fireplace is only decorative and CANNOT BE USED!). The dining area, furnished with a spacious table for 6 people, is ideal for convivial dinners and moments of sharing. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, oven and microwave) and everything you need to prepare meals like at home. A small table with 2 chairs adds an intimate space for breakfast or quick breaks.
There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and an additional toom with a comfortable double sofa bed (Please note: The sofa bed will not be prepared as a bed for your arrival, as we deem it proper to use it as a sofa during the day. You will find the bed linen, pillows and blankets in the wardrobe/shelf closest to the sofa.), which offer comfort and privacy. The spacious wardrobes in the main rooms are designed for tidying up your wardrobe even during longer holidays. The bathroom, complete with toilet, bidet and tub/shower combination, is practical and spacious. Furthermore, the apartment has a private washing machine.
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.
We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

Staying at the Stella Apartment you are right in the centre of Como. In a few minutes you can reach the walled city and stroll through the cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. In 10/15 minutes you can reach: the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historical entrances to the walled city.
A 15-minute walk takes you to Piazza Cavour, Como's largest square, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous resorts on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).
On foot, or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by taking the lakeside Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno you will also find the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a scenic trek towards the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way.
How to get there:
By car: From the A9 motorway exit "Como, Monte Olimpino" in 14 min you are at the apartment. At the motorway exit, follow the GPS and take Via Bellinzona and Via Nino Bixio in the direction of Via Gerolamo Borsieri for 3.4 km. Continue on Via Borsieri and take Via Torriani towards Viale Varese for 450 m. Drive along Viale Carlo Cattaneo, Viale Cesare Battisti and Via Dante Alighieri for 1.1 km and then turn left to arrive at Via Luigi Dottesio 1.
By train: After arriving at the "Como San Giovanni" station, walk for about 4 min to the "Como, S.Rocchetto" stop and take Bus N1 for 6 stops to the "Como, Battisti" stop. From there, you are in front of the apartment in 8 min on foot.
