Labor Day weekend trip to see OSU football
The house is very nicely updated. It's a nice combination of old and new. The kitchen appliances were all high end. Unfortunately, the temps outside were in the 90s and the humidity was high, and when we checked in, the AC was not running. The temp on the first floor was 85 degrees, and the upstairs where the bedrooms were located were extremely hot. We turned the AC on and contacted the host to ask why the AC was not running and to see if there was a problem with it. The host responded immediately that there was no known problem and was not sure why the AC was off. The host said to let them know if the house did not cool, and they would send someone to look at it. We contacted the host again and asked for someone to come look at it as we had small children coming and we wanted to make sure there was not a problem. The response for this was a bit slow, but once they responded, they were very proactive. The host came to the house and had a technician come to check it out. It was determined the AC was running properly but because of the high temp and high humidity, it would take a while to cool the house. The first night was pretty brutal, but the 2nd night was comfortable. The host was gracious in acknowledging this was a difficult circumstance for us and apologized, and discounted our first night for this inconvenience. If it had not been for the temp, I would give this 5 stars.

The property was nice, just needed a little dusting on front porch and inside, but overall we enjoy our stay. Great location, minutes from Fair grounds, and close to shopping. The host was very attentive when needed.

Home away from home
This adorable home was a perfect place for us during our stay in Columbus: close for a quick drive to the convention center, a great home base so we could make breakfast in the morning, and laundry for the many loads required during our sporting event. Thank you to the great property managers keeping us up to date and pointing us toward great recommendations. Should we head to Columbus again, we will most certainly be a repeat stay!

The property was great! Would stay there again. Some things to note: The housekeeper(s) need to dust thoroughly and not just do a get in get out surface clean. It's about presentation. Also, cut the grass and sweep the porch. We should not have to look for broom ...it would make a nice presentation. Some of the furniture was broken (table chair and bedroom chair) and in need of repair. Consideration should be given to more sturdier furniture; it will pay off in the long run. Most people are not mindful of other people's property, and will tear stuff and not care.

This was a great house to stay in. Very comfortable for our family of four. Convenient location to everything in Columbus. The host was quick at responding to any questions. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful home but needs a little attention
The Cozy King Lincoln is beautiful home and the check in process was very easy! It was also nice to know we had an alarm system to use when we went to sleep at night or when leaving if we wanted to use it. We did have a couple issues with ants on the kitchen counters and in the bathrooms so we purchased some ant spray and there were also gnats so we got some gnat traps as well. The kids absolutely loved the refrigerator and that it played music, they thought that was amazing! They also enjoyed being able to watch their Netflix shows on the TV. As other people have said, the floors upstairs are noisy, but it is an old home so that is to be expected and wasn’t a problem at all. One of the bedrooms does need to have the bed looked at though, the box springs has something sticking out about 2” and my teenage niece kept scraping her leg on it. I made sure the owners were aware so hopefully they can take a look at it. Overall we had a great stay though and when the youngest boy left his small stuffed animal he had just gotten on our trip and his small muslin blanket behind, we reached out and they had the cleaning team look for it and ship it to us for just $30. We were so grateful!

Graduation weekend
The house has been nicely updated. Modern with some aspects of an older home. Very comfortable and inviting. Disappointed the porch swing was no longer a fixture for the 6 year old to enjoy, but it didn't ruin our stay. Close to OSU for graduation festivities. As well as the convention center for those that are going there. Would consider staying again if we staying a few nights in Columbus.

Second great stay at Near East gem
This was our second time staying at this great property. The spacious rooms and 2.5 baths work well for our family with our HS and college-age kids. Everything is new and updated. Love the safe, quiet street and convenient parking steps from the front door. Check-in/out couldn’t be any easier. Top choice for our stays in Columbus! Thank you!

wonderful short and central stay near Germantown
Stayed here during my elementary school kids' spring break, it's pretty central to most places where you'd want to visit while exploring the area. Owner was having a bit of trouble with receiving notifications when I sent messages prior to my arrival, but was then more responsive once I was in the property. Entry is via a keypad on the door. Alarm can be armed for when everyone is sleeping inside or when everyone is away (in this case it's deactivated when the keypad opens the locked front door). Each room has an oscillating fan and waterproof sheets under the fabric sheets (i.e. we didn't have any accidents from our 3 year old during our stay, but it was a huge peace of mind). There were a couple super minor maintenance issues (main floor hallway lights were flickering, master bathroom shower door handle was loose and I would've tightened it myself had I brought a screwdriver), but it really didn't detract from enjoying the stay. Yes the upstairs floor can creak very loudly, the house is ~100 years old, but it's been fixed up really beautifully. We accidentally left clothing behind in our hurry to pack up our hyper kids for the long trip back, and the owner arranged to have the clothing sent back to us which we were super thankful for. We hope to be allowed to stay again!

Cute Cozy Home
We were pleased with the home. We were only in town for a few days and found it very comfortable to lounge and relax. The rooms were spacious and the place was very clean. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in town.

Great stay during the NCAAs
8 min from Nationwide arena, was perfect for our brief stay during the tournament. Every room has been tastefully renovated. Beds were comfortable. Couldn't locate the grill but that's ok. All in all we'd stay here again.

Nice Place!
This property was very nice. Communication with manager was good. Property could use a deeper cleaning and extras like paper towels and more toilet paper but overall a nice property. The refrigerator played music and was awesome! We enjoyed our stay and the neighborhood was quiet and very close to downtown.

Thanksgiving Visit
Worked very well for 4 adults visiting family nearby. The property was clean, well maintained and decorated and the entire house had a new, thoughtful renovation including nice kitchen and baths. Great space for the area and suitable for up to 6 adults. Pics on listing represented it well. Easy street parking. Two comments for others consideration (didn't bother us): the floors are beautiful wood floors, but squeaky/loud throughout and the neighborhood is in transition, it's more Columbus east than Bexley. Overall a good stay.

Well I had to let them know housekeeping could have done a better job, we had to unload the dishwasher and wash one bed’s sheets, we hadn’t notice the sheets until we went to bed. Property management was responsive/apologetic and offered to send cleaning people out the next morning but we had already unpacked. We liked the house, well equipped kitchen including coffee, oil, sugar and spices. Laundry detergent was in the laundry room came in very helpful. Neighborhood was quiet, parking in front of the house was easy. Nice to have the house that was well lit when coming home late, I would say not to forget to turn on the porch light if out late because the enclosed porch is very dark. We armed the security system at night but really didn’t need it neighborhood was safe.

Great stay in Columbus
Loved our stay at Cozy King Lincoln. Great house, stylishly decorated with so much space to spread out. We appreciated having 3 comfortable bedrooms plus 2.5 baths. The kitchen is well-equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. Safe, quiet neighborhood, convenient distance to airport and all of the great areas of Columbus. Thank you!
