If you’re considering Rocky Woods Cabin, you won’t be disappointed, a little piece of heaven!"

"We had 4 adults and on 4-year old. The house and bedrooms were perfect for our group. It gave us a good base for 3 days in the area - first time on Schoodic Peninsula. Short drive to Bar Harbor for more sights, shopping and eating. Pretty crowded, but manageable. We would do it again! "

"10/10 Understand that this is a quintessential rustic cabin in Northern Maine. If you understand that: you will thoroughly enjoy this cabin. A slice of Maine cultural history. The property manager has excellent communication and was so kind to mail my daughter’s clothing back to us! The property is everything you would ever want and need for an isolated cabin on a lake. "This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "

"The house was beautifully set up for a lovely stay with our family. We had plans to visit some of the many preserve walks that are conveniently located nearby, however the house, beach and location itself was so charming we decided to stay in and enjoy it instead.
