"We had a lovely overnight stay at Oxbow. The farm & Inn is very charming & welcoming. Maria was also very welcoming and her breakfast was amazing! We stayed in the Goose Eye room & because I booked it on Expedia I didn't realize it was a shared bathroom. Not a big deal, it just would have been a tiny bit more convenient to have a mirror in the bedroom as well. My only other comment is the queen bed mattress is very soft & sags to the middle. "We were greeted by two friendly husky mix dogs as well as Charlie (owner). This place is simply beautiful, both inside and the property in general. Very clean, updated and decorated with a personal greeting inside! It was well worth the drive, and a welcome retreat."

"This property embodies the cozy cabin vibes from the logs on the structure to the Moose head on the wall. You can tell a lot of thought went into keeping the decorations in the theme. Cabin is tucked inside the trees. We worked from our laptops during the day and hiked around with the dog in the afternoons. I would rent this property again."

"We came for a weekend but left wanting a week. Spacious, clean, and cozy lake home in the woods. So many activities to do right there or within a short drive. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the mountains. Check-in was easy. Everything was better than expected. We will definitely be back. "

"This cabin was cozy and comfortable, while still providing ample space to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. This cabin is on a dirt road, so be prepared for some bumps. Our GPS got us there perfectly, but we were glad we found it during the day rather than in the dark. Also, you will want to bring your own drinking water. The water is safe for showering and cleaning, but not for drinking."

"This is a great little place on the second floor of a downtown building in the town of Colebrook. It is super clean, stocked with all of the amenities needed for a nice stay and within walking distance to everything in town, including the darling little coffee/donut/sandwich/ice cream shop right across the street that we frequented daily!"

"The location of this property is wonderful - Very close to mountains and lake for hiking and all water activities. Host was very responsive and answered all questions almost immediately! She even provided something special for our children as a surprise! The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning for future stays!"
