It was highly alarming how unclean the actual rental and the entire property was. The condition of the beds, furniture, and outside property are nothing shy of unsanitary to put it nicely. Luckily the property manager was prompt about my immediate request for a refund. The “owner” did refund the entire amount of the stay. They tried to rectify the situation in a few ways, but ultimately refunded our stay when I provided pictures of the property (it’s like neither the manager or owner had ever been there to see the condition)
Unfortunately we were put in a position to struggle finding a place to stay in the area so we could attend our conference. We also had to pay more in order to find a place that could accommodate 3 adults staying together. We had traveled over 8 hours to TN, and it was the last thing we expected to deal with after a long and exhausting trip.
