Cozy lake retreat
This property is a great destination for a lake getaway! We were in the area for my son’s wedding. And although our schedule was pretty busy. We enjoyed being able to unwind by the lake with a beautiful fire. Definitely would like to stay again. When be we have more time!

Spacious, clean house on a great lake
House is spacious and clean, with large kitchen, nice lower level patio and a very nice upper deck with beautiful views. We really enjoyed the lake. Rented a pontoon boat and cruised around lake a bunch of times and anchored at the sand bar for afternoon relaxation on the lake. Shallow but clean lake, with a considerable amount of nature preserve as shoreline. Great stay!

Lovely lake home for quick football weekend
Gorgeous view from porch! This place had all and more for my family and friends to visit for a quick weekend while in area for a football game. Fishing from the dock and space for larger group was perfect for us. We all came in from VA, OH, and IN for a fun Sept weekend! Thank you!!

Annual Family Trip
Our family landed on this property for our annual trip. With 8 adults and 4 children ranging from 1-6 it can be challenging to find a home that actually meets everyone’s needs. This home was amazing! It was very clean and welcoming, we all had plenty of room, everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels and linens. We all had the best time playing in the lake, fishing from the dock, making smores around the campfire, and truly having a relaxing family filled weekend. Great hosts and great property.

Perfect calm relaxing spot
From the location of the house all the way to the amenities available it was all perfect. I would definitely visit here again! Communication with property owners was easy and punctual. Supplies within the house was exactly what was needed and more. Lots of activities available to use and everything was thought of!

We had 3 couples and each couple had a dedicated bathroom. That makes staying together so much easier. A beautiful spot in the lake. House had everything we needed. Glad we found this place!

Great family vacation spot
Perfect for our family of 6 adults and 5 children ages 3-9 ears old. House was clean, great location on lake, very comfortable beds. Stocked with great lake toys! Fun things to do within an hour driving distance.

Family Vacation
Beautiful home with a great view of the lake. We rented a boat for the week and we spent a lot of time on the lake swimming in the deep parts. Balcony was a great hangout and we played a lot of corn hole. Grandkids loved the fishing and made s’mores around the fire each night. And the beds were soooo comfortable and plenty of towels. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great way to start the year!
My family and I had a wonderful time at this on the lake get away. The place was spacious enough to fit our large group and had great amenities to accommodate our needs. Definitely recommend the hosts were awesome!!!

The house was great. Beautiful and comfortable. Wanted a relaxed vacation with family to celebrate a birthday. This house was perfect for us. Got an unexpected snow. Watched the snow fall on the lake from the covered patio and also from under blankets on the roomy comfy couch. Later sat at the fire pit. Perfect!

The house was perfect exactly like you described everyone had there own space the kitchen and dining area was great. The lake side area was also perfect the dock was accommodating for our pontoon and two jet ski’s. My grandkids did not want to leave thank you very much we will book again next year.

Lakelife at it's sweetest
We loved the Cowtage....it had the magical, lake element that we were so hoping for, and the property itself is meticulous. We did rent a pontoon boat, and we found the lake to be just the right size for fishing, swimming and just floating around. The property has a nice array of floats available, and even beach towels. Everything was SO clean and new feeling - the mattresses were also so comfortable. Highly unusual, in our experience! We are hoping to return next summer...it was just lovely.

Such a wonderful long weekend on the lake
What a wonderfully long weekend on the lake. The house worked perfectly for the 11 of us, with ages ranging from 6 months to 62. The house was large enough to hold us all and provide privacy/space when required. From fishing, swimming, nights by the fire and large family meals, we all had a great time.dWe even had a photographer come over to take =family picture by the lake that came out amazing.

Perfect family getaway
The home was beautiful. Very clean and decorated so cute. It had everything you needed inside and out. The hosts were very easy to get a hold of and responded very quickly. They were very kind and truly cared about making every bit of our vacation an enjoyable one. We brought a boat with us and to our surprise the garage had everything we needed to take the kids tubing. They all had a blast. Rafts for kids of all ages. The kids loved going out in the Kayak, and they had plenty of life vests to use. The upper deck was so relaxing in the morning having coffee and just enjoying the view of the lake. At night we sat around the bonfire and enjoyed semores that Christina had left for us. And we had amazing views of the moon each night. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, for grilling, plenty of bath towels and beach towels. All you need to do is pack you clothes and swim suits and enjoy your vacation. We have definitely found our favorite vacation spot. Thank you Christina and Ken for a great week. We look forward to coming back.

Great gem of a place
Property was immaculate, including the grounds. Owner has excellent communication. One nice living space on each floor, plenty of room for everyone to eat inside or for everyone to eat outside. The swim buoy makes the boundaries obvious in the water; we spent a lot of time in there. The deck is shielded from the sun, and the patio below is the full width of the house, so the outdoor space is very usable even in midday sun. Pier is aluminum and deck and stairs are engineered wood. The owners built this place to last. This was a relaxing stay for 11-- two sets of grandparents, kids, and grandkids.
