"Secluded and peaceful - no work, no friends, no family. A little slice of paradise. Also, a nice base for some day trips to area Provincial Parks."

"This cottage was newer and very spacious and well appointed. The location on Diamond Lake is fantastic. A quiet spot for quiet people. The provided kayaks and paddleboards make it easy to get out on the lake."

"We were very impressed with our hosts. They were super nice and very accommodating. Hats up in the air to Oscar and Sage for making sure that we didn't forget our pets at home, and gave them extra scratches behind their ears. Definitely we will book again :-)"

"Loved the cabin! Beautiful and quiet setting with wonderful hosts! We enjoyed the fresh eggs and the cabin itself had all appointments. It was quaint, quiet and restful. We will be back!"

"We had an amazing stay here. 10/10 would recommend. Deborah was a fantastic host and was able to answer any questions we had and even brought us fresh eggs in the morning. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. "

"The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good."

"Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. This is a public entrance area. Our son did some fishing off the dock and caught a nice size bass which we...

There were so many fishing spots close by, hunting was an option but we didn’t end up going, the hiking with my dog was so beautiful and even just walking around the property was so calming and pretty. The one ice cream place attached to the woodland parking lot had a dog friendly patio and they gave my pup a pup cone for free it was so...

He was too little last year to really enjoy the winter so this year I decided to spoil him for all his hard working in the last year training.
