"This is the perfect place for a girl’s trip or family getaway! The property is gorgeous with lots of room for outdoor activities. "Our group stayed here after a larger family reunion at Trout Lodge, YMCA. The place was great with something to do for everyone. Having a private, CLEAN pool for the family is amazing. We hiked around and boated around the lake, made s’mores by a campfire, played pool and darts and board games and grilled meals. This house lets you do it all and has the space to visit family and also have alone time. I’d love to come back."

"Coming from Texas, we wanted to experience the changing leaves and the nature trails in the area but were pleasantly surprised when we found ourselves staying on a plot of civil war history. Our cabin was delightfully cozy, and the creek was a very nice place to sit near for our morning coffee. The views of the mountains from the front porch as the fog cleared were impeccable and we have already saved this spot in our list of places to visit again. "

"We brought the family down for the Battle of Pilot Knob weekend, and this was the perfect place for our stay. It was just a few miles from Fort Davidson, easy to find, quiet, and clean. We loved the screened in porch and all the open space surrounding the house. The beds were comfortable, and the wifi good enough to stream Netflix on the large TV. The bathrooms were small but just fine for a weekend getaway. "

"We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses.
