Wonderful cozy peaceful getaway

We appreciate everything about the property the Lapp family where very kind and helpful. One suggestion will to trim back the shrubs coming in along the drive way it was coming close to the sides of our vehicles . Everything else was great and very much appreciated. Great family weekend gateway

We enjoyed staying at this house. Great for a family get together. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen and spending time together in the dining /living room. The kids loved the basement and the pingpong table very much.

Peaceful home in a beautiful scenic area

We had a wonderful week in the Hibernia Knoll Cottage. The house and huge lot make it easy to relax and enjoy nature. I truly enjoyed having my morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the landscaped yard and listening to the birds. Not quite Fall, the leaves were just starting to change adding a magic touch to the area. The house had everything we needed. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to find things. Lots of towels and extras. The WiFi/Internet was strong and fast, enabling us to make some video calls to keep in touch with family. We had a very relaxing and relaxing week here.

Perfect!

This property was absolutely perfect for my husband and I and 2 teenage boys. We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament. Home was clean, quiet and in a great location. Great place to come home to and relax after a long hot day of sports. Boys especially liked the ping pong table! Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Complement to Lancaster County Touring

The house is lovelyā€”just like in the photos. We even took autum family photos in the yard! It felt very much like a retreat. Everything was cozy and inviting, from the decor and furniture to the coffee mugs! We were visiting the area to enjoy the autumn leaves and also to learn more about Amish lifestyle and culture. This house felt like an extension of the peace, grace, and love we found while visiting with Amish shopkeepers and tour guides in Lancaster (which was 25 minutes away, with a beautiful drive). We also went to Hersheyā€™s Chocolate World while thereā€”just over an hour driveā€”and Phillyā€”just under an hour. Overall, a wonderful escape!

We came to town to run a Tough Mudder obstacle course race. We were only 20 minutes from the course and the house was a perfect place to return to after the race. Air conditioned, clean, quiet, and multiple showers!

Needed stay for family emergency

The hosts were absolutely wonderful and easily accessible. Their neighbor assisted us with check in and questions. This property is wonderful for a getaway place. It is serene and peaceful. If you are looking for a location closer to the big city we would recommend going closer to the big city. We would highly recommend this facility for young families who are looking for a getaway.

This home was the perfect place for our family of 4. A welcoming note from the owners with a dozen of fresh eggs were the first of the great surprises awaiting us. The beautiful sunrise greeted us each morning in the spacious window-filled kitchen and dining room. The fireplaces added to the coziness of the visit as well as a pingpong table for some friendly competition in the evening. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Many thanks to the Ladds!!

Weekend getaway

The property was clean and family friendly! Our 6 & 3 year old loved the toys, ping pong table, swing set, neighbor goats and kid camp chairs for outside. The beds were comfortable with soft bedding and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed, except a collander, the farm fresh eggs were a wonderful addition! It was a great place to unplug and use as a base for adventures to Hibernia Park & Longwood Gardens.

Absolutely Wonderful

Our group weekend getaway was a wonderful success. The property manager went above and beyond in making our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. From fresh eggs to home made pumpkin pie to checking in if we needed anything extra. Place was clean and had plenty of room to sleep everyone. Highly recommended!
