"The house itself is very interesting. The only issue we had was the temperature - two small window units plus the swamp cooler were not enough to cool the large home. Like another reviewer, we are from Texas and were pretty miserable. Canon City was HOT during the day and nothing could keep up. The upstairs was especially warm. "Beautiful house in a beautiful location. House had so much space and was beautifully decorated. Kids loved the movie room and I loved the deck overlooking the mountains. Perfect place to drink my morning coffee. Bummed that the hot tub wasn’t working but the host was very apologetic and offered late check out to make up for it.
