"Our stay was lovely, very clean and location was lovely. Only issue was we never saw that we where to put down the electricity reading on the evening we arrived as it was later at night and it was only on the last day we realised we where to also pay for our electricity. Apart from that the cabin was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect distance from Glenshee"

"Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house"

"for us it was a relaxing environment in a very busy week. Our participation in the Royal Deeside golf week could not be better than from this beautiful house. in the house everything is present and clean. The access road to the house can be a problem for low cars, in our case it resulted in a flat tire due to the loose stones."

"The property was clean and comfortable with all the facilities expected. The garden was spectacular with red squirrels, rabbits and plenty of wildlife. The collection of books and artworks in the house was much appreciated. This is not a property if for those wanting flashy or ultra modern but it is a fabulous place to stay to enjoy the Cairngorms."

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. "We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. "

"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative.
