"Loved every moment of our stay! House was clean, spacious and well appointed and was just like in the pictures. A very relaxing and quiet place to unwind with spectacular views that you could sit and look at for hours! No downside to staying here and I could definitely see ourselves coming back some time. "Ein uriges Cottage. Mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Super Lage am Meer. Ein gemütlicher Pub in der Nähe. Eine schöne abwechslungsreiche Küste sowohl in direkter Umgebung, als auch für Tagesausflüge. Einkäufe können im in der Nähe gelegenen Ort Skibbereen erledigt werden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und zur Betreuerin vor Ort war unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"This is a very comfortable, spacious, well equipped home overlooking the beautiful marina. The many windows make it bright and airy. Excellent beds and linens, very nice towels, everything you might need in the kitchen. Geraldine was so quick to respond to any questions and even accommodated our need to check in early. We have only very positive things to say about this property."

"Wow!!! What can I say about this cottage that hasn’t been already said. This is by far an absolute hidden gem. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and memorable. From the sweet treats upon arrival to John showing us how the dairy farm works. And we really loved the pups, they greeted us everyday when we got back. The only downfall about this cottage, is having to leave. We are already planning another trip. Thank you so much, Deidre and John!! "

"Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. "A wonderful place with brilliant views, surrounded by ample countryside. Gwyneth was the best host one could ask for, very friendly and helpful throughout my stay and indeed for both settling in and heading out. The place was lovely to stay in, featuring every utility you could desire, and felt very welcoming and comfortable as almost a home away from home. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer! For any undecided, The Brown Hen is definitely worth a stay. "
