Spacious Creek-side Home in the Woods near Wineries, Helen and Dahlonega

Nestled in a wooded area located between Dahlonega and Helen, the family-sized home sits on a 1.2 acre wooded lot with two decks overlooking the woods containing a trout stream running year-round. The 4-bed / 4.5-bath, mountain vacation home with 2 bonus rooms with beds, comfortably sleeps 10 across three floors. Five pillow-topped queen beds, single over full bunk bed and an additional single bed provides your group comfortable sleep.

A large, fully equipped kitchen and island as well as the grill under the outdoor gazebo lets you create your favorite dishes for the largest family. You can also relax on a large deck overlooking the woods while listening to the babbling trout stream below or in the 6-person hot tub below. The kids can hang out downstairs playing pool, or foosball. Each bedroom and living room has a 4K smart TV and high speed fiber internet Wi-fi access, so everyone can watch something different. If you are adventurous, try exploring the north Georgia Mountains or panning for gold in the Trout Stream.

The home is a short drive from all the shopping, fun, and events in Alpine Helen. Within a short drive are rivers, waterfalls, Brasstown Bald (highest peak in Georgia), recreation areas, and Dahlonega, the historical gold mining town. Additional area activities include:

Family vibes
The cabin was beautiful and spacious. On the day it rained we played pool, foosball and the arcade game. We enjoyed the hot tub. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, we didn’t feel crowded at all there were nine of us. We were well stocked with towels,coffe,cocoa coffeecoffecocoahochchocolate

Awesome mountain getaway for our large family group!
Our family had a fantastic time at this property. The home was very modern, appeared to be recently renovated (Nov 2024), and plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids ages 3 to 10. So many bathrooms! That was great. The kitchen is beautiful and really big. We cooked a lot so that was super helpful. We also used the very nice Weber propane grill outside. Fire pit was awesome and well stocked. The real star of the show for us was access to the creek in the back! Such a nice feature for a private home! We also went out several times and the location was great as everything we did was within about 20 minutes, yet we still felt remote and “away from it all”.

Quick getaway
We traveled with 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 5-13). The game room area was perfect for the teens and the separate bunk room. They also enjoyed exploring by the creek. Water access is a must for us on a trip! We went when there was still leaves on the trees. You can’t see the water from the porch but you can hear it! The kitchen was spacious & updated which I appreciated. We also loved the proximity to the north ga zoo & safari (check it out!!!) Be sure to read the check in details about where your trash goes. I skimmed it and remembered top of driveway. I accidentally went to the neighbors trash can first and he yelled at me through a camera. Startled me! I guess the neighbors have had a lot of issues with guests putting trash in their can. Yours is in the shed to the left at the top of the hill.

Family Wedding
We were up for a wedding in Dahlonega, Georgia and this was a great spot for relaxation. The leaves were changing and we were surrounded by wildlife. The house was very clean and the amenities were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing property
The photos do not do it justice. We were so pleased with the property and all its amenities. It was so well appointed and comfortable. We all loved it and look forward to staying here again. It is great for large family as the kids can go to the basement level and use that bedroom (up to 4), then adults on the main and upper level. The owners really thought out what would visitors need, even down to the toiletries in each bedroom. There are stores so close that I had Walmart deliver our food an hour of our arrival. Even he was amazing and a local police officer.

beautiful home convenient to Cleveland
Was easy to find and had paved roads to the driveway and a very little downhill gravel drive to house. Nice concrete parking areas. Easy lock with code and works great. The home is beautiful and nicely kept. Clean and comfortable. Although the beds are high off the floor, better not fall out of it. We only had one towel in each bathroom which i felt we could of had a couple extras. so, I feel we need more towels left in cabinet. The water from the shower wet the floor some and I didn't want to use our towel to dry the floor and the bathroom mat was not doing a great job. I think better mats to soak up water that gets our of shower curtain would be good. We had plenty of room and the game room was great for the kids. They loved it as well. Will be back. Thank you for a great stay. so nice...

Beautiful Property
There was ample space enough for our family of 9. Everything was in working order and we loved the tranquil and serene atmosphere. Town was not far and Helen is about 20 minutes away. The creek was beautiful, and they provided walking sticks which was a nice touch. Overall it was a great get away. Will book again.

Beautiful cabin, AMAZING KITCHEN! All the amenities were great. We missed the drive into cabin first time, but once we found it, it was easier every time after that! We would definitely rent this again. Communication with host was very good.

Excellent Property
Great place to stay. Close to multiple wineries, Helen, and other North Georgia attractions. Property is managed by the owners and not a property management company (which is a huge plus from my perspective). They were very attentive and easy to communicate with. The kitchen was well stocked, all the technology (TV’s, WiFi, T-Stats, etc) worked. This is in a nice, peaceful location - very close to a creek and we even had a flock of deer visit several times ;) Definitely would recommend!

70th Birthday Getaway
I wanted a place for my friends to help me celebrate my 70th birthday. I needed a house for a group of six. I found this listing immediately and knew it was the perfect choice. The house location was perfect for everyone and large enough for each of us to have a bedroom to ourselves. Unfortunately one bedroom was more suited for kids but it worked out okay. This is the perfect place for a group celebration or just hanging out with family or friends. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. Many of the ladies were very surprised. They said they had stayed at places where they had to buy paper products the day they checked in. We had our coffee on the deck in the mornings where you could hear Town Creek rushing by the property. You can take a short walk down to enjoy the tranquility of sitting by the creek. It was so relaxing! The house is halfway between Dahlonega and Helen as well as being surrounded by vineyards, hiking trails and other area attractions. There were also games inside and outside the house to enjoy. Thank you to the owner/property manager for the prompt replies to my questions.

Wedding weekend
Stayed Friday-Monday for my nieces wedding. Cabin was gorgeous, especially the kitchen. The space was perfect for my family. The only things we wish were different, which were not a big big deal. We wished there was a bathroom in the basement. Not only for us as we’re hanging out down there but there is a bedroom down there, so whoever stays has to come up to the main floor to shower, etc…. Also, the beds could’ve been a little more comfortable, they were a little too firm for our taste. But after the first night we were so exhausted to even notice! Other than that, it’s gorgeous and it has everything you’d need!!!!!
