"This house is absolutely perfect for a family or small get together. The layout allows plenty of space for everyone, everything was very clean, the home is fully stocked with everything you may need, and is decorated adorably to give the coziest vibe! The small town has a great bar/restaurant and the drive to Saint Cloud or Minneapolis isn’t bad at all! We absolutely loved staying here and plan on coming back to enjoy it in the summer! "

"We enjoyed our winter weekend stay very much! We were a group of 14 ages 17-70. We had fisherman in the group and brought our own fishhouse, which helped with sleeping (4 slept on the lake in fish house), the other 10 slept in the house, and I think you'd be hard pressed to actually sleep 16 as advertised, unless you have smaller kids who can sleep anywhere, as the majority of the beds were sleeper sofas, which our group did not find very comfortable. "This is our second stay at this beautiful cottage. We plan to make it an annual stay. Cozy is the word I use to describe it. Jane is the absolute best host! "

"Lake life was quiet. Feels secluded without any neighborhood traffic. Safe place for pet. Some dust and cobwebs but that adds to the vintage feel of the cabin. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Wonderful girlfriend’s weekend! The beach is right across the street from the house. Every evening we would grab our lawn chairs and head over to watch it. The beds are comfortable (everyone slept great) The only frustrating thing was the check in process but that’s not the owners fault- we never got the email from VRBO with the check in code so had to reach out to the host to get the info. Besides that- wonderful stay! "

"The cabin was perfect! There were 2 couples who spent a long weekend catching up. Very clean and had everything we needed! Close to town for sinner out and enjoyyed Ocltoberfest at the local brewery. "

"The beautiful log home worked so well for a group of 8 adults on a mid-winter long weekend getaway. We spent hours in the light-filled sunporch and enjoyed morning walks on the wooded trails. FYI--the 2nd floor of the house has a spacious bathroom with just a tub--no shower. However the second bathroom on main floor worked well for those wanting a shower."

The only thing was the cleanliness. The ceiling fans were dusty so when we turned them on the dust was flying, and the shower was a bit dirty. Also, the water issue was a little to get used to, understandable since I think it was well water, to get a good stream of water, it took a while. Water...
