"A home away from home. Our second stay at this fantastic lodge within 3 months. Our first trip was as a family with 3 young children and the most recent trip with my father and sister. Everything you could need ever need inside and outside from children’s colouring and games to condiments to views of the sea and the most beautiful starry nights. A welcome bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival and Kris was a fantastic host. Thank you very much, hopefully we will be back again very soon"

"If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. Can’t wait to come back."

"We had a great experience! The view is absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise from the porch and the main sitting area. All rooms have a private bathroom except the 2 upstairs share a big bathroom (which works great). We had everything we need! Lorraine is wonderful with her help and communication! "The property had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the evening was very nice. The log burner was cosy after the sun went down. It was only a few minutes drive to the local shop and distillery. That being said,some mould remover and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. shop and distillery."

"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. "We arrived to the property and received a warm welcome with lots of thoughtful extras. The property is immaculately presented and full of homely touches which make it a real pleasure to stay in. The location of the property was ideal for our day trips exploring the local area. We had beautiful weather throughout our stay too which just enhanced our break.
