Scout on the Water, sleeping six, is a beautifully furnished New England style retreat set within the gated community of The Landings in the Cotswold Water Park.

Situated in landscaped surroundings overlooking a stunning 114 acre sailing and fishing lake, it’s perfect for an adventurous family holiday or special celebration, with water sports, walking and cycling on tap. Or fire up the bubbles and kick back in the relaxing hot tub and stare at the ever-changing sky and water!

The pretty clapper board-style exterior and fantastic setting make a brilliant first impression and the decked area providing plenty of space for sitting out and enjoying uninterrupted lake views comes a close second.

Furnished to a high standard, Scout on the Water offers a spacious open plan living area with a bespoke fully fitted kitchen, dining and lounge area with lake views. Wall to ceiling glass windows and patio doors open onto a large private deck with outdoor furniture, gas barbecue and hot tub.

There are three en suite double bedrooms - two on the first floor, and one on the second floor - the two first floor bedrooms have 6’ zip and link beds that can be converted into twin beds if required.

THE LAYOUT
Ground floor:
Spacious hallway with stairs to first floor. The hallway has a cupboard containing an additional fridge freezer.
Large open plan living space comprising a bespoke fully fitted kitchen, dining and lounge area with 55” TV and lake views. Wall to ceiling glass windows and patio doors open onto a large private deck with outdoor furniture, gas barbecue and hot tub.
There is also a downstairs wc with a utility area off the entrance hall.

First floor:
Double/twin bedroom with 6’ zip and link bed, 24" TV, lake views and double doors to balcony. En suite bathroom with shower over the bath.
Double/twin bedroom with 6’ zip and link bed and en suite shower room.

Second floor:
Double bedroom with 5’ king bed, 43" TV, lake views and French doors to balcony with table and chairs. Large en suite shower room with twin sinks.

Outside:
With direct lake frontage, stunning views can be seen from the large south facing sun deck with table and chairs seating six and a gas barbecue. There is a private boat jetty leading from the deck which provides mooring for one or two small boats.

There are neighbours so we operate a good neighbour policy and state that noise must be kept to a minimum outside after 10.30pm and that guests should always respect the neighbours' peace
A £500 security deposit is required and released within a week should there be no claims against it

The property is based on a lakeside - please ensure children are supervised at all times

Relaxed stay in the Cotswolds
We spent a wonderful week at Kevin's house by the lake. The location and the house are as described in the listing and after two unfortunate experiences with other homes we can't rate this highly enough. Modern and comfortably furnished. The communication with the agency and the owner was very good and we can only recommend the accommodation. Thank you very much.
