"Very good communication prior to stay- very accurate directions and we found the Cart House very easily. Lovely welcome from owner, plus Charli, the dog. Really appreciated the welcome gifts and the card. Lovely touch. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed plus much more. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic views, peaceful. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "

"Everything was as listed comfy and unique.With beautiful surroundings lots of countryside with beautiful views. We travelled to the beach and went board surfing then back to the Shepherds hut were we lit the log fire and enjoyed Pizza that we cooked in the pizza oven that is on sitereally enjoyable stay.sitesitecooked "

"Lovely tidy property, had all the mods and cons needed but the walls were a little thin and we could hear our nextdoor neighbours, And they could probably hear us. The hot tub was a selling point for us but unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest and couldn’t use it for long. (2 evenings max). Also, the bed was a little too short for my 6ft4 husband."

"We stayed at Ger y Nant for my birthday just before Christmas and it was such a lovely little cottage, my partner and 2 miniature dachshunds had a great time. Ann was really responsive to our messages and really helpful. Would definitely recommend! "

"Very convenient location for easy travel. Property well described but it is tucked in beside a disused club house. Car parking a bit hit and miss but wasn't a problem. Inside was clean but this was a bit tarnished by a very smelly cigarette bin right beside the front door and the smell permeated the whole house. Beds were good, facilities were good."

"A peaceful place to stay."

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"No hot tub as advertised originally when booking. Other peoples dogs (5 off) allowed to enter the garden. .requiring constant dog poo clearing up. No walled garden as originally advertised when booking. 8 acres includes a 5 acre meadow not all garden. Gardens are full of weeds and largely unkept apart from mowing. Refund now required."

"A beautiful house, perfect for our family of 9. In a lovely area, the children loved the beach at Wiseman's Bridge and at Manorbier. Thank you Lucia, you made us feel so welcome, we had a great time."

"I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...

"This wonderful cottage was perfect for my three day retreat. The weather was cold, wet and windy but after a days walking and exploring the coast path, it was a treat to return to this cosy sanctuary tucked into the hillside in a beautiful garden.The cottage had everything I needed to make this a perfect stay. "The hotel & staff were first class. The spa treatments excellent but a bit expensive. The food was outstanding. The room with a sea view was amazing, every night we had a fantastic view of the sunset in Feb!! The sister hotel opposite served excellent food too. The only downside for us was the state of the car park which looked rather scrappy on arrival & rather let the hotel down."
