Assateague 111-2R is fabulous in that it is actually 2 awesome Assateague Inn Rooms with an adjoining door for privacy! Newly Updated, this Condo will knock your socks off! Just perfect for a small family, 2 couples, or 2 singles traveling together, yet wanting their own space and privacy.Ā 

Adorned in Crisp White and Nautical Navy, there's nothing ordinary about this adorable and affordable Condo. On one side you'll find a beautifully updated Kitchenette that even has an Air Fryer/Convection Oven Combo - perfect for a quick bit before hitting the Beach! With both a Mini Fridge and an Apartment Size Refrigerator, there's plenty of room for all your food and beverages. Enjoy morning coffee and watch the News on the Flat Screen Cable TV. Excellent location, perfect size for two adults. Easy check in/out procedure. Only negative was lots of flies in room when we checked in and no one working front desk we could communicate with.

Iā€™ve been staying on the island for almost 20 years at various hotels and private rentals 1-2 times a year. I consider myself a tenured vacationer to the island. This was a huge disappointment. I usually rent a private small home for as much as it cost for this rental. Most small homes donā€™t include amenities such as linens and a pool. The deciding factor for this trip was a pool since it was a shorter stay, so I chose Assateague Inn. After the refund period was over they decided to let me know that the pool wasnā€™t ready. When we arrived it looked like the pool was new construction and not nearly close to being done.They advertised on vrbo that linens were provided, but they expect you to use the same towels for the entire stay unless you go out of your way to ask for clean replacements. Buyer beware. I will definitely spend my money elsewhere next time.

Great location, beautiful view

Had a great stay in this unit! Very clean, bed in primary room was comfy. The bike path is right at the Inn and a short ride to all the places on Maddox Blvd (Island Creamery, Amarin, Maui jacks etc). The deck overlooked the marsh which was a lovely view. The only thing I'd warn people about is the second bedroom room is also the dining room and kitchen. Worked totally fine for my daughter and I, but if my husband and son had come I think it would've been too small.. But a family of 3 or with 2 kids under ten years I think it's great.

**Disappointing Stay ā€“ Poor Service and Unresolved Issues**

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. Since it was the off season, we were hoping to relax in the evenings and watch something, but there was no internet available for several days. This meant we couldnā€™t stream anything to watch at night, which was especially frustrating. We informed the company the night we arrived, but nothing was done to resolve the issue during our stay.The air conditioning was also extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. When we raised this concern with the staff, we were told, ā€œno one else has complained,ā€ which felt dismissive and made us feel like our concerns werenā€™t being taken seriously. Despite following up, nothing was addressed for three days.Because of these unresolved issues, we decided to leave a day early. When I informed the complex of our early departure and the reasons why, there was no apology or offer of compensation. Overall, the lack of service and attention to our concerns was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

Comfortable space!

We were pleased with what we found! The space was exactly as advertised and we really liked the fact that the bedroom was completely separate from the kitchenette and second bed. The two bathrooms we also great since it was my wife and I, our daughter and her best friend. The separate space for the adults was super! The cost of the room per night was very reasonable for it being the off season.

Wonderful time

We loved our accommodations. It was as listed. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. This place is so close to so many great restaurants, shops & great Ice Cream. We road all over the Island to explore and enjoyed this. We also took advantage of the great pool. We would definitely stay there again.

This listing is two very small efficiency rooms joined. 1 has a kitchenette and 1 has a bedroom. For 2 separate adults this isn't feasible as 1 of the 2 rooms with the kitchenette has a small daybed for a small child in the kitchen. The toilet compartments are only about 18 inches wide and not suitable for an adult man 200 pounds unless you like to do things standing up. the pool was very dirty and unattractive and the deep water fishing xhannel is 3 inches deep. if you are looking just for somewhere to sleep its not horrible but certain comforts leave to be desired.

Easy check in, peaceful stay

Easy to find and access. The dock was enjoyable with wildlife. Tha accommodation was clean and spacious for 3 adults. Nice walking paths to food and fun and shops. Definitely plan to stay again.

Convenient Location

Clean, two room, 2.bathroom with 2 fridges. Felt safe there. Walk to bars and restaurants. Mini golf nearby. We were happy to find a coffee pot, not Keurig. Air fryer was a nice touch but we didn't use it. We took the saltwater pony boat tour with Henry - well worth it. Got some amazing pictures. Bring binoculars for birdwatching.

Large space, but poor sleep.

Two rooms had been combined to create one suite and there were still two shower/toilet stalls and two adjacent sinks. The kitchen was well appointed. The location was good. On the downside, because the property is built over the marsh and guests access rooms via an external wooden walkway, every time someone walked by our room the floor shook. Along the same lines, we were well aware of the midnight arrival of the people staying in the room above us. Also, the bottom sheet would not lie flat on the bed, either because it did not fit or because there was a plastic liner under it. The wrinkles were uncomfortable. (I know I sound like the princess with the pea, but it really was unpleasant.) Finally, one of the light in the room went on and off randomly; electrical anomalies make me nervous. When the management company texted to ask how things were going, I told them about the light and mattress. They promptly sent someone over. We were out when they arrived, but they apparently replaced the sheet (which made no difference) and disconnected the light (so there was no comfortable place to read). The price was low enough that potential guests might reasonably ignore my complaints. We chose to leave a day early, though poor weather contributed to that decision.

The property was fine, however, both doors did not close tightly. I could see daylight through the bottom corner of both doors. The property was full of flies, I kill them every evening and there were 3-6 when I came back the next evening. They were coming in from somewhere, the doors? The property was very clean but I gave 4 stars because the rug in front of the sink was pretty gross. The towel rack was barely attached to the wall.

Family vacation

Great place to stay and great location. The pool was nice after a long day in the beach and we enjoyed spending time on the dock as well as in the front where there is ample seating and picnic tables.
