I made dinner reservations nearby at the weingarten vineyard. The hiking trail along the creek was fun. We ate breakfast right down the road at Kozy. For our final night I cooked steaks over the open fire"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming little cabin. It is clean, comfortable, and the location is so so beautiful. Also, Tom is an amazing and responsive host! We will absolutely stay here again in the future. "

"We came to Waterloo to visit family for Christmas. We always wanted to stay in a log cabin. This one didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about it! The bed was so comfortable, we slept in every single day! The owners were very easy to get ahold of. Great experience all around!"

"My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! "

"Jill and her husband were so nice. From the snacks they brought to being flexible when we needed to add days. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dogs, and they loved Dexter. The farmhouse was cozy and comfortable. It felt like being at home. I highly recommend the farmhouse."

"Property was amazing as were the hosts. We stayed for a week and had family and friends over the course of the week. It was a perfect venue with a large kitchen to gather with anything you could possibly need (including a drawer full of spices in case you forgot something ;), a game room for hanging/playing games, and the living room has a large TV and surround sound with a huge sofa so we enjoyed watching a movie or two. There is a Sonos sound system that covers every area of the property which...

"House is pretty and functional. Spotless. They offer everything needed (towels, toiletries, pillows etc). Kitchen has everything needed. They kindly left food, seasoning and the coffee bar is great. Walkable distance from all the cute stores, restaurants and museums. We drove to the Cave Winery and had a great time. Would definetly come back."

"We stayed at this property for my birthday weekend and it was fabulous! We cooked several meals and the kitchen had EVERYTHING! The house is nestled in the woods, with beautiful surroundings and the house is so cozy. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Stayed here with family for several days. Everything was as promised and the pictures are accurate. The host was very attentive and made us feel welcome. All around great experience. We'll be back for sure."

"A very clean and pleasant property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and visit with our eldest daughter, her fiancé, and granddaughter. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate but it did not dampen the joy of spending time with our family.We really enjoyed the house and all amenities provided! We did have to replace a toaster, but it was nothing for us to do so. We hope to be able to book this property again!"
