"This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The property is secluded and quiet. Bill was so nice. He walked us along his property up a giant hill to see spectacular mountain views. We had everything we needed for cooking. The firepit was awesome and Bill provided more than enough fire wood for us to use. We enjoyed the creek and wandering the property. Just a perfect location for our weekend getaway!!!"

"This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. We never saw anyone actually catch a fish...

"We had a group of 10.5 stay for the weekend in the magical area that is lake lure/chimney rock. The house had everything we wanted and needed and was easy to get to and from. "We had three families stay in this home and it was fantastic! The house is gorgeous and well appointed and maintained. Everyone had their own space and bathrooms. Easy drive to Greenville and about an hour from the mountains. Neighborhood is cute! We went on morning walks before breakfast and our day. Walmart is close as are several places to eat. Beth was great at helping us with anything we needed! Great memories made for this family!! Thank you!"

"The lodge at Piney Knob provided a wonderful setting for our annual (multi-family) Labor Day trip! The accommodations were spacious and well-equipped for our group of eight. My dad, my son, and I even got to meet Mr. Bill, the owner, down at the pond on Saturday. We enjoyed talking with him and hearing about some of the history of his place. We recommend you considering Piney Knob Lodge for a peaceful and beautiful getaway! "
