"The price of this place is amazing and therefore a very good value. There were a few cleaning issues that we noticed, but overall the room was clean. We did have an issue with someone smoking in one of the rooms next to us one night and because the rooms are set up as basically central air situation and not the individual room heating and cooling units that normal hotels have, the smoke from that room came in to our room through the vents. "Easy check in/out and host was prompt to respond for the few questions we had. Lots to do for the kids and enjoyed the outside spaces. Steps downstairs are very tricky. Good thing there are two bedrooms on main floor for the older folks. Only issue is the pool started to turn green on day 3. But it's an above ground without a lot of circulation and it was scorching outside. Overall, definitely recommend."

"This property was not quite adequate for our needs. We were contributing a lot of food to Christmas festivities. The kitchen was poorly stocked. Both cookware, mixing bowls, utensils. Not sure how often the filters are cleaned but water tasted bad. Basi salt and pepper but nothing else. Loved the recliners!Bed was good. I would suggest routinely changing lock battery as it ran out for us on Christmas Eve. We had to leave the house unlocked when we left for Christmas Eve dinner. Heard...

"My Mom and I stayed here for a weekend trip. It was perfect for the two of us! Easy access from the driveway. It is very convenient to downtown Shelby. We absolutely love the interior design and beautiful arrangements. We will definitely book this again next time we visit Shelby. "

"Just as advertised! House was completed updated, fully stocked and spotless. Great proximity to downtown Belmont, so we walked into town each morning for coffee. The deer sightings in the yard were also fun. We'll be back! "

I was also unable to fully flush one of the toilets, and lastly I was unable to get in contact with the host to get the WIFI password, so I had to use cellular data the whole stay."
