"This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated. "The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. "We spent a couple of nights at this lovely quaint cabin while traveling through Tennessee. It far exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to sit back, relax, watch the snow fall and be entertained by the peacocks, read and just enjoy the beauty of the property. Only issue was the bed definitely needs to be replaced. All other red roofs need to lessons from them.
