Fresh renovations & beautiful mountain views! Dog friendly, large fenced yard!

The first thing you'll love is the view through the large picture window in the living room! Enjoy it even more, rain or shine, in comfortable wicker seating on the covered deck!

This three bedroom, two full bath home has been freshly remodeled throughout! Updated kitchen and bathrooms, new paint and all NEW everything! Furniture, pillow-top mattresses, linens, dishes, pots, pans, smart TV - Everything!

This is our second vacation rental and our seven years of experience has taught us what makes our guests comfortable and feeling at home when they stay with us. We fell in love with this mountain home the moment we saw the view! Unlike many view homes, this one is an easy drive up from the town of Waynesville. No steep winding roads.

Master has a king bed, TV and ensuite bathroom with a large shower and new vanity. Second bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with tub/shower and new vanity is just steps down the hallway. Third bedroom is extra large at 325 square feet! The room features a sleeping area with a queen bed and a comfortable sitting area with its own large screen, smart TV and a refreshment station where you can make coffee and store drinks or snacks in your own mini-fridge. Sliding glass doors open to a private patio that enjoys the same magnificent views found upstairs.

The large living room has a comfortable couch, storage ottoman, two recliners and 55" Roku TV with streaming channels. Open concept design with living area, kitchen and dining all together. Updated, white shaker style kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and new appliances give the kitchen a fresh, fun feeling.

High-speed cable internet lets you steam your favorite shows and stay in touch with the world if you are so inclined.

If you bring your furry friends, you will enjoy the newly fenced, large backyard with a firepit. Relax on the deck while your dogs have freedom to romp and play.

The Osceola House is close to everything that makes western North Carolina so appealing as a vacation getaway. Outdoor adventures abound. Take an invigorating hike or rafting trip, a leisurely walk around Lake Junaluska or experience zip-lining through the scenic forests. Enjoy casual or upscale dining and delightful shopping in charming downtown Waynesville, just ten minutes away. Drive 30 minutes to Asheville for more dining and shopping opportunities or to visit the always incredible Biltmore Estate.

The house is easily accessible and available year-round. We invite you to relax and re-energize at our North Carolina Osceola House. Come and unwind in a mountain home that is close to dining and shopping, but remote enough to enjoy peaceful evenings by a campfire with the night sky full of brilliant stars!

The view out of sliding doors is amazing. The house has everything you can think of needing. Love that they even think of things you might need for your dog as well. Communication with owner was fantastic.

Great house and terrific hosts!
The house was perfect! Loved the fenced in yard for our pups. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were amazing and even left a gift for me and my wife as well as for our pups. Great place to stay! Close to town with the feel of being away from everything.

Summer vacation
The property was wonderful! Beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The house was well equipped with anything you would need. Gorgeous back deck with stunning views of the mountains.

Fabulous House
We stayed for four nights and we loved this house! The owners thought of everything that a guest might need to make their stay enjoyable. When we arrived, there was a personalized card along with a bottle of wine on the kitchen island. As we explored the house, we continued to be impressed by the attention to detail for guests. For example, each bathroom towel was beautifully folded, a pumice pad was left in the shower, the linens were beautiful, etc... The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that each room was temperature controlled. The fenced-in yard was incredible for our two dogs and they also loved laying under the maple tree to enjoy the shade. The fire pit was wonderful and the owners left matches and wood which was so nice! The view from this property is breathtaking. In addition, the location of this house was perfect for us. It was close to the highways, as well as a small park where we walked our dogs each morning. The grocery stores and Walmart were less than a 5-minute drive. We will definitely stay at this beautiful house the next time we are in town.

Peaceful mountain time
I loved this property! It was perfect for my dogs and family. The basement room with back yard access was perfect for letting my older gentleman out during the night. The fire pit produced excellent s’mores when the weather cooperated lol. Great location to towns but far enough out to get quiet peaceful evenings and mornings. Will recommend to everyone and will stay again next time I’m headed to Maggie Valley!

Excellent home
Highly recommended!! Home is clean, beautiful and well stocked and new remodeled. The listing is very accurate. Our family of 6 adults were there for our daughter's WCU graduation and we had plenty of room. Close to restaurants and things to do. The owner, Peg, is very easy to work with. Just what we were looking for.
Came to the 30th Annual Mini Trucking Show. This house provided more than enough room for me, my husband, our two adult sons, daughter in law and our 3 grand dogs. It was comfortable and cozy, super clean and not too far away. Will book again in the future.

Best property I’ve stayed in…
We decided last minute to take a trip to Waynesville and I’m so glad this property was available. First and foremost, the hosts have set up this property to be perfect for dog owners. The backyard is spacious and securely fenced, and can be accessed from the deck off the main floor, from the downstairs bedroom, or straight from the driveway. There was a designated dog towel for wiping paws and two dog bowls, plus a coverlet to use on the couch if the dogs are accustomed to being on furniture - very thankful for these items because even though I remembered my personal dog towels I totally forgot my dogs’ water bowl. For human guests: everything is updated inside, from flooring to furniture. The master bed was extremely comfortable (so many VRBO hosts overlook the mattresses, but not here!), the kitchen was very nice and seemed to have every appliance one could need. It was bitterly cold during our stay, and the home’s heating kept up beautifully. The ROKU tv and WiFi worked great. The home’s location is up a mountainside and so quiet, but it only takes 5 min to get down the hill to Papas and Beers and another 5 to be in downtown. The hosts are local and very proactive and responsive. My only complaint is that I didn’t pull out the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle until evening 2 of 3, and as a result I didn’t have enough time to finish it. :-) maybe next time!

Christmas visit
This is probably the best Vrbo we have stayed in! Quaint, clean, decorated for Christmas, pet friendly, amenities were exactly as described, everything we needed at our fingertips, and a bottle of wine as well! My parents, myself, and my pups loved our stay! Convenient to all the things in Waynesville as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Christmas trip
House has a nice mountain view. Living room and kitchen are smaller than pictured, but still nice. Both bathrooms have some counter space for toiletries so that is a plus. Would be nice to have a bathroom downstairs. We cooked breakfast and dinner, the trash can outside was a bit small for a group of 6. The provisions of a blanket to cover the couch and towels for wet dog paws are very thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Mountain Views
What a fantastic place to stay. The house is very comfortable and looks recently updated. All the comforts of home. There’s a really large fenced backyard which my 3 year old Australian Shepard had a great time chasing a frisbee. But the absolute icing on the cake is the covered back deck with views of the mountains. I couldn’t get enough of it. It’s the reason we come to North Carolina. And the location of the property is great. You can be in downtown Waynesville or up on the Blue Ridge parkway in no time at all. Many thanks to the Host for making are stay so enjoyable.

The house was so clean and nice. The fenced in yard was great for our pups. The owners were amazing hosts. They were out of town and still responded to our requests. I highly recommend staying here. It was close to downtown Waynesville, Asheville and Maggie Valley.

Easy to Access, Great View
This was just the place my family needed while in town for a wedding. It had great views of the mountains - especially at sunrise - and a fenced yard in which my dog loved to play and run. The drive up the mountain was rather simple compared to others in the region, just like the description noted. Peg thought of everything when preparing the house for guests. I would recommend this house to anyone!

Daughters WCU graduation
I booked the home for my oldest daughter’s graduation from WCU, and my younger twin daughters and 75 year old father and his wife and my sister accompanied us. There was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy time together, get ready for events and take in the breathtaking views from the back porch. I would love to visit again when I have more time to relax rather than such a hectic schedule.

Beautiful weekend!!
We loved the house and the location. The house was beautifully equipped and decorated for our weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equiped for your cooking needs and is clean. I loved that we didn't have to buy all of these extra condiments and stuff to just cook a simple meal. The beds are so comfy and I slept like a baby. Loved being able to look out at the mountains while I rested (lower level bedroom). Plus being able to control the ac/heat in each room was nice. Our last night was graced with a rainbow above the house, so beautiful. We will definitely be back. Already looking at the fall for my birthday weekend .
