After a short walk through the association, you will find a beautiful private beach on Mullett Lake that offers excellent swimming for both children and adults. For your convenience, there is a mooring buoy, dock, and unlimited fun on Michigan's most beautiful waterway.
The home is situated in a quiet private setting with patio, deck, outdoor grilling, picnic table, fire pit and a wonderful view of Mullett Lake for your enjoyment and relaxation.
Inland Waterway: The 38-mile long waterway begins at Lake Huron and meanders through the Cheboygan River, Mullett Lake, Indian River, Burt Lake and Crooked River to its ending in Crooked and Pickeral Lakes. Great fishing opportunities surround you in this beautiful waterway. At the beach you will find a mooring buoy for your boat, a dock for easy loading and a wonderful place to swim for both children and adults.
The Rails to Trails: By the beach you can access the Rails to Trails, which offers hiking and biking in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. The trail takes you along the Mullett Lake shoreline to Cheboygan or Indian River and spans a total of 61.9 miles from Mackinaw City to Gaylord. For snowmobiling the trail can take you to many other connecting trails throughout Northern Michigan.
Distances to points of interest: Gaylord, Michigan’s golf Mecca, is only 37 miles away. The Mackinac Bridge, Mackinaw City and the boat docks to Mackinac Island are 25 miles away. Mackinaw City also offers shopping, Fort Michilimackinac and to the east there is Historic Mill Creek. Indian River by Burt Lake is 9 miles and Cheboygan by Lake Huron is 10 miles. The Lake Michigan communities of Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbor Springs are 47, 30 and 30 miles away respectively. If it is skiing you enjoy Nub’s Nob Ski Area and Boyne Highlands are 25 miles away.
