Our cozy cottage is welcoming and perfect for a lakefront experience! You will love hanging out on our private beach under the River Birch, while enjoying lavish sunsets.

Reserve our pontoon boat to explore the beauty of Lake Wylie. The boat will be delivered to your dock on the evening before or morning of your booking and picked up when it is time to go. Check for owners specials from time to time.

You will love the beach! It is perfect for the kids to run around and play in the sand while you watch from the patio or dock. The "bay" offers a safe swimming environment, being indented into the shoreline, feel comfortable and confident that your loved ones are safe from boat traffic. You will have access to a canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board to launch out on an adventure from the beach. It also has a great fire pit, perfect for stories and marsh mellow roasting.

Home description:
Entering the cottage, you will see a beautiful view of the Lake through the front wall which is 80% glass. The very open floor plan offers wonderful interactions with guest while cooking in the kitchen. The living room features a large flat screen TV as well as a pull out couch. After taking in the view, you’ll notice the elegantly crafted wooden interior of our new, fully renovated home. On this level you will find the second bedroom with a queen bed facing a picturesque view of the lake. This bedroom has a large private bathroom with a walk-in tile shower and marble floors. Walk out onto the deck for a gorgeous broad view of Lake Wylie as well as our private beach, lawn and dock.

Continue downstairs to enjoy yet another beautiful wide view of the lake through the many windows. Here you will find another living area great for relaxing in front of the large flat screen TV or reading a book in front of the wood burning fireplace. Also on this floor is the master bathroom with a beautiful travertine shower, large closet with a new top-of-the-line washer dryer. The master bedroom is located on this level with a king sized bed, walk-in closet and a fabulous view of the lake. Walk outside on this level to the downstairs patio - a perfect place to wind-down and enjoy a refreshing drink or simply see the beauty of the lake.

Fantastic Property
My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed over Christmas. The photos in this listing do not do it justice. It was so warm and cozy, but with plenty of space. Our host, Georgia, is simply wonderful. All you need to bring are literally your clothes! We will definitely be back soon!

What a beautiful getaway! The cabin was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and we loved spending evenings by the fireplace—it added such a warm and relaxing touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after our days of exploring. We were also so grateful that the cabin is pet-friendly! It was wonderful to bring our furry companion along to enjoy the trip with us. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to visit again. Loved setting, house was very comfortable, 2 living areas (very nice for reading), 2 HUGE porches (one screened). Trails to walk with dogs. The most clearly labeled instructions I've seen (all switches were labeled), nice supply of cooking dishes, firewood was provided for firepit on beach.

Wonderful Lake Cabin
Our family of 4 enjoyed your cabin so much! The location was perfect. Downtown Charlotte is about 30 min away, yet the cabin felt secluded and to our selves. The beach area was perfect. We enjoyed sitting and fishing off the dock each day/evening. Dinner on the screened in porch was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful beds, sheets, and towels. We will definitely be back again.

Labor Day Getaway
House was in a lovely neighborhood. Enjoyed morning coffee on the dock, and even got so see some baby deer! The shaded beach was enjoyed by all of us. We definitely want to go back again!

Comfy Cabin, Outstanding Host
The property was exactly as advertised; clean, comfortable, and spacious. Initially, there was no problem with any of the amenities, but eventually there were a few speed bumps. In each case, our host was immediately responsive and worked to resolve each issue as best that could be done. There was no indication of neglect, only poor timing/luck. Only one issue remained unresolvable, and we were graciously compensated for the inconvienence. I would recommend this property and would stay there again should we visit the area in the future.

We spent most of our time on the spacious and beautiful screened-in porch. The views are lovely, and Georgia's (the owner) listing accurately describes and depicts her welcoming home. Fantastic Stay
Overall a cute small cabin that had enough space for 6 adults comfortably. Beach was great, fishing was fantastic right from the dock, onsite boat rental was super convenient. Exactly what we were looking for, somewhere to have fun in the water, and also to be close to restaurants to eat at in the evening. No complaints.

Lake Life
Clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully outfitted lake rental. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week on the Lake. Morning coffee on the upper screen porch. Early morning bass fishing (had pretty good luck this year). Watching the sunset out on the floating dock, while fishing for catfish (not much luck this year). Sitting in the shade on the beach midday watching the boat traffic and enjoying the waves. Can't wait to do it again next year.

Great Home and Deck
First, Georgia (homeowner) was outstanding with communication. Quick and clear responses to any questions. Second, the house was clean and convenient in a great location on the lake. The 2nd floor screened in deck with fans was where we spent most of our time playing games, eating and relaxing. We rented a boat from Georgia and she made it very convenient (offered to drop it off at our dock). 5 stars all around.

Amazing property
I stayed with a group of 6 girlfriends for a very low-key bachelorette weekend. The house was absolutely perfect - we got some great beach/dock time in when it was sunny, and when it rained, we played games on the huge second floor screened in porch. House was pristine and adorable. We didn’t get to use the boats, but they were there if we wanted them. Highly recommend this house for small to medium group get togethers!

Great place to spend a week with friends or family! Nicely remodeled 2 story cottage with rustic decor. Two bedrooms with firm king or a softer full sized beds. Plus two roll out sofa beds with new 5” foam gel mattresses ( stored in the shed). Living rooms both top and bottom floor , with fireplaces if you are in the mood.. Excellent tiled bathrooms, lotsa hot water and towels ….laundry room if you need it. Kitchen is well equipped with appliances , gadgets and a strong ice maker for party animals. Gas stove, dishwasher, full size fridge and a microwave. Garbage day is Monday FYI. Jumbo televisions each floor for the nearsighted elders, LOL . Wi-fi is strong. Furnace heat and Central air all work as they should. Two heating zones. upstairs vs downstairs. Community water well with strong water pressure, to scrub off the beach sand. Jumbo screened in upper rear porch for everyday dining or relaxing ! Man made sand beachfront is very nice for kids. Kept clean from west wind debris by an underwater fence , good engineering solution! Waterfront has kayaks, canoes and well stocked with live vests and paddles. Dock is large , and has a gated seating area. A few fishin poles on the downstairs patio. BYOB. ( Bring your own bait) Hostess Georgia has her ear to the phone in case you need any thing or advice . Great customer service! Can’t go wrong with a beautiful sunset. Easy on the pocketbook too. Make your reservation now! Cheers!

BEST THANKSGIVING EVER
We loved our long Thanksgiving break stay on Lake Wylie. The house was amazing and perfect for our family of 5 - us (the parents), 2 teenagers, and grandma. In addition, it was the perfect place for all of our extended family to come for dinner/game night/football watching/boat rides who were in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday to give my sister in law who was hosting the big Thanksgiving Dinner in Fort Mill a break from the crowds. Beautiful weekend, beautiful lake, beautiful home and we hope to be able to rent it again next year for Thanksgiving.
