Summary:
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy the peacefulness and serenity, while being only 30 min away from the city. Nestled in Mint Hill area , this beautiful and unique A-Frame house been fully renovated and equipped to entertain and to never disappoint. Escape to fresh air , warm fire and starry nights. Breakfast is provided. The house accommodates 6 adults 2kids, only 1 shower.

The Space:
The house is beautifully built and furnished to certainly give you a vacation feel. It consists of 3 floors . The main floor includes the living room , dinning room , fully equipped kitchen, half bathroom and beautiful outdoor patio with a grill. Upstairs includes a queen sized bed with a TV and a little balcony that overlooks the fire pit and beautiful lights . Lowest level sleeps 6 people and includes king sized bed , queen sized bed and a sofa sleeper in the living area. The house accommodates sleeping 6 adults comfortably. However , due to the uniqueness of the A-Shaped structure , it has only 1 shower.

Guest Access:
Guests can access all parts of the house . The shed near the house is locked and currently used for storage .

The Neighborhood:
Very quite neighborhood. The neighbors next door have a friendly dog that's getting older and likes to roam in the neighborhood. You might find him sometimes laying in the front yard because the guests been spoiling him and giving him treats all the time. Now he made it a habit to hang around the house, but he is very sweet :) He interacts perfectly with guests but may be intimidated by other dogs if you are brining any.

Other Things to Note:
Enjoy the fire pit . There’s always wood stocked outside . The lighter and flame starter are in the closet near the kitchen

Interaction with Guests:
I’m a phone call away . Call me or text me if you need anything and I’ll reach back within minutes

This was exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful little A Frame home. I have lived in the area for over four years and didn’t even know this little jewel existed. Cute, clean, and well worth the stay.

Nice wooded lot, clean home. Dogs loved playing fetch around the home. “Lived” on the lower level where the shower and king bed were. Convenient drive and door so items could be unloaded from the car.

This was the best rental we’ve ever booked!! There are so many amenities which made our stay even better than expected! Fully stocked kitchen with spices, coffee, tea options, and anything you need in table, drink and cookware. Same with laundry and bathroom supplies. Absolutely adorable place with so much charm! We will be definitely staying here anytime we come to town to visit family!

Great Stay with Easy Access to Downtown Charlotte
The house was very clean. Layout worked for us and we really enjoyed the stay. We came to Charlotte to see the March Madness basketball games and getting to and from the Spectrum Center was easy with little traffic. Mint Hill area offer nice restaurants and a unique brew pub (CharBar No7 and Pour 64). A nice stay.

This property was absolutely magical. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated and one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. It had ample space for 5-6 people and everything you could need in the kitchen. My immediate family stayed here leading up to my wedding and it made for a fantastic experience. I highly recommend!

Just Wonderful
I was so impressed with this house! EVERYTHING was thought of, I mean every little detail! You need nothing but your clothes and food. The house was spotless and so warmly decorated. I wish my trip was longer. I really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels jump from tree to tree. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Great place!
My family stayed here on our way to Florida from Ohio. This quiet, roomy, adorable cabin was perfect for relaxing after a long drive. Very clean and welcoming. Charming decor with all the comforts of home. You won’t be disappointed with this wonderful home. We would love to stay here again.

The place was amazing. Super cute, great location. I had to reach out to owner because I did not get check in info 24 hours in advance. He did get back with me but it was less than 8 hours before check in which made me nervous.

City Close with Peaceful Mountain Feeling
We absolutely loved everything about A Frame of Mind. It definitely kept us in a wonderful frame of mind as we spent a whole week here enjoying our family that lives in the area. So close to Charlotte and anything you'd want while being able to relax around a campfire every night and roast marshmallows making memories with family. Very clean. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen is stocked...really well. Breakfast was supplied. Really top notch place. The owner thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will book this place again and I hope very soon. =)

Great little getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay here. A relative was getting married right down the road, so this was the perfect location. The house is packed with nearly everything you need for a stay, just bring your clothes and food and you’re set! Just far enough from the city to avoid traffic, but close enough to sneak in and enjoy a day on the town. Would gladly visit again!

Impeccable!
This is such a well-appointed, clean, comfortable, high-quality home. The main level has a dining table for 6, kitchen counter with seating for 4, a galley kitchen, a half bath and a spacious living room. Also off the living room is a large deck with a table for 6. There is a spiral staircase to the loft, which has a queen bed. There is also a spiral staircase to the lower level, which has 2 bedrooms (K & Q), a full bath and another living room with a large sectional couch. Everything in the home was great quality, from the towels to the dishes. The beds were super comfortable for my whole family! I had about 3 silly questions for the owner and they responded quickly. Outside there is a beautiful fire pit area, which came loaded with firewood. Although we didn't use it, oh boy it was beautiful! We did enjoy coffee on the front porch in the morning, rocking on the rocking chairs. I would recommend this to anyone, provided they can get up and down the spiral staircase (needed for bedrooms & shower). My mom is 74 and did fine with it!

Better Than Described!
This property was perfect! We rented the house for a long weekend to attend and wedding and it was better than they advertised. We've used rental sites many times and this was the most well appointed home we've rented. Exceeded our expectations and we are hoping to return again soon to visit and explore more of the area!

Gorgeous Property
We loved our stay at this cute home! It was very clean and had everything we needed and more. It is definitely well appointed and we loved the style of the decor. It feels like you are on a mountain retreat even though you are close to Charlotte and areas. We enjoyed the breakfast offered. We stay in VRBOs a lot on our travels with our family to various events, soccer tournaments, dance comp., etc. and this is definitely one of the best and one of our favorites! We will be looking into coming back again next year when the event as at the Cabarrus Event Center, which is about a 25 minute drive away. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful A-Frame
This place was amazing - form top to bottom! Everything you would want or need for a vacation home was provided. There was a high level of thought and detail put into providing a relaxing place to live and unwind. The kids were weary of the spiral staircase at first, then loved them and would not stop climbing up and down! The place is 30 minutes outside of Charlotte, so be prepared to spend some time traveling back and forth, but totally worth it for this place! Highly recommend!

Great Getaway
We had a lovely weekend at this property. Our group included 6 adults and 2 younger kids. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed making waffles each morning. Yard was great for an egg hunt on Easter. The older members of our group had to take extra care on the spiral stairs, but had no issue. Would not hesitate to stay here again!
