The Space:
This spacious 3-story house is divided into 6 separate condos. The building is perfect for larger groups of friends or families that want to vacation together but still have their own suite to relax in at the end of a fun day exploring the city.

The open floor plan accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. It has a breakfast bar with 2 seats and a living room with high ceilings. This unit is smartly finished and furnished with quality stainless steel appliances and flat-screen TVs. Comfy, minimalist design and thoughtful details like upholstered headboards and subway-tiled showers add modern personality. Every room has hardwood floors, central A/C, and free WiFi. The kitchen cabinets are stocked with essential cookware and cutlery and all linens are provided in each apartment.

Please note this condo sleeps up to 6 guests: 2 in the primary suite (queen bed) and 2 in each of the 2 secondary bedrooms (queen beds).

This listing includes ONE PARKING SPACE.

Upon arrival, guests enter through the main entrance of the house on Cannon Street.

No parties and events are allowed at this property.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2024-05390 and business license BL012815.

Guests will have access to this suite and will have all of the essentials you need during your stay.

THIS LISTING INCLUDES ONE PARKING SPACE ONLY. Parking is labeled in our parking lot behind the building.

Please don't inquire about additional parking as we don't have access to any. The closest garage is at the corner of King and Spring Street at the Hyatt Place about 6 blocks away. If you have more than one car, please plan for that.

This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The house is minutes to the very popular Upper King Street district where you will find a multitude of great shops, bookstores, and fashion boutiques - as well as amazing restaurants!

Getting Around:
You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property. Any sign of pets will incur additional fees starting at $500.

Parking: Our parking lot is very tight. We do not have parking for any oversized vehicles. If you have questions about whether or not your car will fit, please ask. Additional overnight parking available at the Hyatt Place on King Street for $18/night.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

Perfect getaway
This was a perfect place to stay with our two boys (16 and 18) for a couple days of sightseeing. We walked a lot, but there are enough parking garages/lots in the day that we didn’t feel like walking as much. The neighborhood is quiet, the actual apartment is well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Loved Charleston and the house
We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The home is well appointed and recently remodeled. It's off the beaten path a bit which is what we were looking for. Everything is walkable and everything is about a $10 Uber ride away. The property staff was very attentive, even though we didn't need anything. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Fun in Charleston
My sisters and I went to Charleston to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. The location was good. We were able to walk to some restaurants, but it was too hot to walk everywhere. The bedrooms/ beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped but we didn't really need it. Why cook when the food and bar scene is so amazing!

Wonderful Place to Stay
The accommodations were wonderful. The place was clean and well appointed. There were a few missing items, but the staff was extremely responsive. The ice maker didn't work but we were brought ice within 30 minutes. It was an easy walk up Cannon Street to the free shuttle on King Street.

Is better than it looks from the outside!
When we arrived at the building, we were actually concerned because the outside of the building looks a bit worn, and there was a pile of recycling trash, overflowing from the two recycling garbage cans, and someone was parked in our parking space. Not a good first impression!! The trash was still there when we left. I'd recommend investing in several additional recycling cans. BUT, upon entering the space we were pleasantly surprised. It was updated and very clean. The three flights of steps are a challenge--so take note! You will have to carry your bags up those steps! The location was okay. Directly behind the hospital which makes for some emergency noise throughout the night, but again, this is a great value and absolutely doable. The DASH is free transportation to town center( town center is about 1.5 miles away) and is really very good, so getting around is not an issue.

Three lifelong friends celebrating our birthdays
We walked to restaurants and, due to rain, drove to extra parking. However, this could have been an easy mile walk in dry weather. We paid extra fee at Hyatt, but it was a clean, safe, and secure spot for extra vehicles. The suite was clean and comfortable with all that we needed for our weekend stay. Fresh towels, tissue, toiletries, and coffee items included. Beds were comfy. We were delighted with our stay at the Julep Suite.
