The Neighborhood:

With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights. There was a very comfortable air mattress, so we didn't have to share the bed. Things were a little tight. The wet bathroom was not ideal, but we made it work

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in this apartment! It was easily accessible from downtown, a slight walk to King Street, but very close to some great bars, etc. We will definitely be back!

Great Location!
It was a great location very close to downtown and a few coffee shops walking distance! Property manager was very communicative. We did encounter a cockroach one night and neither my friend or I had the guts to kill it we were so scared but other than that the place was clean. The bathroom barely had any lighting though. And there is not really a shower. The shower is just in the center of the ceiling and it drips everywhere so you can’t really get ready in the bathroom. Showering was a hot mess express every night. The lighting in the bathroom def needs to be fixed you can’t see anything at night

We loved the neighborhood, the apartment, 5 stars. The people staying Upstairs were a little noisy, but not a big deal. We hope to stay here again next time we visit Charleston.

The place is very well decorated. It was very clean. It is really small and it doesn’t have the comforts of a hotel. The bathroom is very uncomfortable, especially the shower. The place assigned to park the car is very uncomfortable and far from the place. You can hear a lot of noise, especially the footsteps of the neighbors upstairs. It doesn't have a patio/terrace to enjoy the sunset. The price-quality ratio is not worth it.

A night in Charleston
Was a great spot to stay right downtown. Very clean, cozy, and convenient. The host was very approachable. Overall exactly what I needed.

We had great weather in Charleston. We were located in a walkable area. The five nights we stayed in the studio it was very noisy. The upper unit was occupied by three different partys while we were there. We could hear every step they took and heard the plumbing when in use. Kids playing outside our door after dark. We had to contact the owner/manager 3 times as we got little sleep. Very low water pressure in the bathroom, shower is open in small bathroom with no door. Everything needs to be taken out when taking a shower.

Really enjoyed our stay in Charleston. VRBO was very clean. Good location, close to King Street. Easy access for bus to historic district. As others mentioned, the shower takes awhile to get used to but it worked out fine.

I came to the area for a work training and needed a place to stay for the night. The location was easy to find, I didn’t need to park a vehicle so I can’t speak to that. Entering with a code was simple and the place was just as described and VERY clean. The room could have been a little loud, due to its location, but the owner provided a sound machine that drowned everything out nicely. If I’m in the area in the future I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay—great location, tranquil and simple neighborhood. Lots of coffee shops, and easy to navigate. Only a 10 min ride or 40 min walk (recommend the walk) to the main part of town. We’ll be recommending it to our family and friends.

Excellent stay in Charleston
Had a great time at this property in Charleston. Pros: (1) Efficient space as advertised. (2) Good space for the cost considering surrounding properties and prices. (3) Despite the coziness of the space, it did not lack many essentials needed for functioning with food, preparing myself generally, or relaxing. Cons: Shower is not separated from primary bathroom. So things could get messy when going in and out of the bathroom after a shower because of water on the bathroom floor. Highly recommended. It has all the essentials needed for an individual or a couple. Thanks for the stay!
